Some "excuses" for Tyrone last year were that they had to play that game at Mansion Park instead of Gray Stadium due to the bomb threat the the school. Plus, coaches son just came back from injury. I truely think the Eagles underestimated CC. They didn't realize how atheltic there were. Question this year is can CC have enough success in the passing game to make Tyrone honest? 15 is a heck of an athelete.....with his legs more so than anything. If he can do it with his arm, it's a toss up. You have to give the edge to Tryone at home, until someone knocks them off there.

To answer NLionn, upfront Clearfield is very good. I would go as far as to say the trenches battle was even. Tyrone only blitzed twice all night, both sacks. Clearfield sent the kitchen sink half the time and at least one guy every play and only had 2 or 3 sacks. I'm not getting into any decisions that were made, we did miss 4 extra points and a fg(haven't missed any since)

What team runs the ball good and doesn't win? Unless they have a bad deffence witch clearly is not Central Cambria's case. They have one of the best in District 6. Simple as that..

When Andrew O'Saben runs for 100+ yards in a game this season, Central Cambria is 8-0.
When Andrew O'Saben runs for less than 100 yards in a game this season, Central Cambria is 0-3.
I'd say that explains it.

I don't know if the OG has ever saw a 3 loss team so confident in thinking that they can beat a Giant like Tyrone. However, this may be the best 3 loss team in AA football. No fear might be the best thing that the Devils have going for them as they head up 99 tomorrow night. There is no place in District 6 as hostile as The Eagles Nest...and the secret to winning there is to still be in the game 4 minutes into the 2nd quarter.

CC's defense is good. IMO their secondary was the best that I saw all year. They switch coverages post snap and are very disciplined. But...to beat Tyrone, you better be able to stop the run. This is where I think CC loses...I really don't think they are as strong up front as they were last year.

If this CC team is healthy all year, I think we are talking about an undefeated CC team and a different outcome in this game. However...CC has had some injuries all year and I just don't think the Devils have enough offensive power to get them the W.

This game will be a good one. But Tyrone is due for a trip to the carpet. Tyrone has been the OG's pick all season, and he isn't about to get off the horse now.

Tyrone 24 - Central Cambria 14

Maybe Tyrone is the better team, maybe CC is the better team. Last year everyone thought Tyrone was the better team, yet CC beat them by 2 scores. I have that gut feeling Tyrone wants the revenge from last year to prove they are better than CC, but CC wants that district title more than ever right now. Once playoffs start every team is 0-0, anything can happen, just like in every sport.

Im pulling for CC. I know they can win, and the team knows that as well. Both teams are playing great football right now, and this is hard to determine the winner. The fact that it is being played at Tyrone is a scary thought too, but I think CC can overcome that.

I don't think it matters at all that it is being played at Tyrone. If anything it boosts the confidence of the Devils because when was the last time Tyrone lost a home game? To pull an upset on Tyrone is 1 thing, but to pull an upset on Tyrone at the "eagles nest" as you call, is another. 21-13 Devils.
