since we are talking about WESTMONT football players.

hahah westmont football players SUCK. Have you watched any of there games the past like 7 years?

They haven't't sucked. There have been teams much worse than them. Failed to live up to potential? Yes. Will they have a non-succesful team next year? Yes. But to say some of the players who have come through the program sucked isn't even close to being accurate. They've had a handful of very solid players. It's just a shame there haven't been any standouts recently, or currently for that matter.

crimson- ok mayb not the past 7 yrs but they have sucked recently and they always say how good of a team there going to have and it never happens!
and thereason-no, i only like to watch football. i play a sport that requires actual skill. the only people that need to do anything on a football team are qbs, wrs, rbs, and safetys/lbs. everyone else pretty much stands there 95% of the time

Westmont didnt produce Brad Kanuch. Brad Kanuch produced Westmont. Thats simple math.

Yes... Kanuch was a very, very talented player. And look at the team around him. They were still nothing that's going to go down in the record books. One player won't make or break a team, even when that one player is surrounded by a very capable team. You have no right to be bitching. You started a thread asking what do you think the season will look like. It looks like it will be atleast another year before the Hilltoppers can truly contend. And they won't surprise us. The LHAC isn't getting any easier, and Westmont isn't getting any better. In a few years, who knows, Westmont might be back on top and be year-in, year-out contenders. But the system is nowhere close to that right now.
