If windber had to play inspired defense once this year.. this game would be it..And besides this game is for Sh*t talkin rights for the rest of the year. During basketball season, and during baseball season hahah should be a good game.

(last years score this year)-Windber on top

I hate to agree with what everyone is saying. No matter how much I would love to win the Championship game (AGAIN) this year, I don't think that we're going to. And that's for the same reasons everyone else is saying: our defense just isn't there this year.

But I don't agree with the statement about the "sh*t talkin rights" because basketball and baseball have nothing to do with Football, thank you very much.

Anyways, the game Friday is going to be amazing and good luck to whichever team gets the title.

I'm not saying they were bad but i just can't comprehend why you say that were bad for Berlin. Berlin hardly had anything called on them all game. And another thing how can you say Windbers offense isnt as everyone makes them seem. They scored 47 points against your Mountaineers. obviously they could nto stop them. They scored 40 against CT the first time they played them. Berlin let 3 of Windbers running backs go over the 100+ yard plateau in that game (Ulasky,Cover,Smith). Windbers offense is great, but the defense is just that bad. Berlin would have won easily if they could have stopped Windber a tiny bit because everyone knows Windber isnt going to stop anyone defensively. Berlin played a great game, props to Saylor he is a good ball player. Now back to what we are suppose to talk about, Windber and CT. Both offenses are great, good runningbacks. Windbers defense won't stop Zaman. CT's defense won't stop Ulasky and Cover. What it comes down to is one or two defensive stops during the game. CT has a better defense so odds are for them.
no, the refs were bad both ways. the game was just terrible with the officials and the clock manager. Don't get me wrong windbers O is good but i just don't think they've really played a good D. Berlin couldn't stop Windber at all. It sucked being on the sideline. just looking at windber's o i could tell where they were going most times. just wish berlin saw that too. Had a chance but couldn't hold on to the ball. It was a good game to watch though. I don't think Windber will beat township. During the regular season township let them come back after they were spanking them. When you are beating Windber you keep your foot on the gas. if you let them hang around they will make you pay

The sh*t talkin rights def. has something to do with basketball.. You best believe whichever team wins the gold medals will be flying in the gym. And if your from windber, and play for windber, and say your going to lose.. I'm shaking my head....

Now for a little explanation of my prediction....

Windber won the D5 championship last year allowing 255 points in 10 games-granted they had to play Northern Bedford for the 11th game-allowing 15 points- The 2009 ramblers only had to play 10.

this year windber has allowed 262 points in the 10 games leading up to this showdown.

What im trying to say is windber is just as bad on defense as they were last year. So all hope is not lost. Hence my prediction of one inspired game of defense from windber just like last year and a repeat as
District 5 champions..

On another note....
The 2008 Windber ramblers allowed 111 points in 10 games- When asked why windbers defense has gone down the sh*tter you dont have to look any farther than the sidelines- the 2008 rambler defense was coached by jeff slatcoff.

Ohhhhhh.... and the 2007 ramblers allowed a whopping....48 points in 10 games. Funny how one coaching move can kill a teams defense so bad.

Yeah, I'm from Windber but I don't play for it.

I was just saying that odds are a little against us, although who knows what could happen. I mean, we weren't supposed to win last year, right?

We'll just see what happens tomorrow. If our defense shows up to play, we just might have a chance.
