Well have a safe trip man. Maybe next year you can visit our stadium. I used to run up through that area all the time heading to Latrobe. Dealt with Smart Parts, a paintball business. Knew the owners well and got my paint for my store there. Very beautiful area.

Maybe Fort Hill and Allegany should apply to the LHAC for membership. Then we could have a Super Conference if Ligonier and Chestnut Ridge join. Being a Bedford fan, I always wished we had at least one of those schools on our schedule. We used to play Fort Hill in JV years back. They were fun games. The last one I was in it was the last JV game of the year and both teams were undefeated. We were told Fort Hill hadn’t been scored on all year. We ended up winning 12-6 or something like that. Few scuffles along the way. Very intense for a JV game.
Anyway, I know Allegany has played Hollidaysburg and Ridge in the past. Play Ridge this year. I’d like to go down to that game. I’ve been to the stadium for scrimmages but never a game. Bedford used to scrimmage Allegany before the LHAC forced its teams to scrimmage the conference teams that aren’t on their schedule. But having worked in Cumberland I know how serious the people are supporting these two teams. I think it will make a nice road trip.

I enjoy this board because it lacks the ad hominem attacks present on most message boards, particularly mdhigh. Things were going along smoothly untill someone with **** envy about Fort Hill decides to ruin it. Again, thanks to the regulars on this board for being gracious hosts. Safe travels to everyone.

You guys at Ligonier seem to have a very nice AD at the school. When I called to get information on parking and directions, they put me through to him, and he was very helpful and seemed to be looking forward to the game Friday. He was very informative on directions, concessions, parking and seating at the stadium. I told my 8 year old we were going to be late getting there, and he said, he didn't care, as long as he got to see the game.
