i dont get it either chief, how can you beat a kid twice and have a better record and be seeded lower? i dont get this point system. isn't this why the boys wrestle in the regular season? i guess head to head wins mean nothing anymore !!!!!!

Nice to hear you chime in Bloat, however, I cannot answer that question either and apparently know one else has the answer . Oh well, I guess it is up to the coaches to battle that out. Meanwhile the kid takes one on the chin.

Taylor Cahill winning percentage x60 = 41.5, Competition points for win over Deist (11) as well as (1 + 1) for losses to McKenzie and (4) for loss to Dodson. i guess no points for forfeit win over Laue {12}, so maybe 58.5 {or 70.5.}

Blake Miller winning percentage x 60 = 38.5, Competition points for wins over Deist (11 + 11) & Laue (12) as well as (2) loss to Brydon = 74.5; 74.5-58.5 = 16, with a 15 point gap or less being necessary for head to head to factor into things.

Odoyel Taylor Cahill should get points for win over T. Long District 3-4th = 10 points? Loss to Szala? Loss to Tarr? Probably others as well but, that should easily get him within a point or two?

I doubt odoyle has anything to do with the actual seedings.

It's most likely up to the CT coaches to provide the correct point totals for their wrestlers. If they don't have them not much can be done.

I did hear some coaches were at the seed meeting unprepared and without their teams seed points, etc.. so who knows.

Lefteye, Now that is about as good as answer as I can ask for. Makes complete sense. I have enjoyed all the response for this and will move on to another topic.

lefteye is right, i have nothing to do with seedings, i just look at the formula and competition and sometimes get near the answer.

As far as Cahill, he should get (10) for win over T Long DSIX 4th, (1) for loss by fall to R5 Szala, nothing for loss to D4 Tarr.

I could easily be missing more points for Cahill, Miller, or any of the people that I've listed out info for.
