Crimson, no need to justify things. I think you guys did a great job. Take it from someone who has done TV and Radio for 15 years. You are never going to please everyone, and unfortunately your "connection" to any school will qualify you in their minds as a "homer." I found that even tho I thought I was as balanced as could be, I was still called out as being biased towards Westmont. I think you guys are doing great things. Keep up the good work. BTW, I got to be the voice of Portage and Forest Hills this season, and the Crushers tonight, even tho Im the AD at Westy. None of us do it for the money, its for the love of sports and to get these kids recognized.

I'm starting to realize that ill be called out for a McCort bias forever. I an pick against them, be critical of them, and do just about anything to criticize the team/school and yet people will still try to pull the bias card, Regardless of what happens, We will still get that criticism. Trust me, we don't dislike any school, coach, or player, and we love giving any of these guys the coverage that they deserve. It seems most of the athletes and coaches understand that, but some posters on here do not. That is fine. We cannot please everyone, but we give coverage that can't be matched around here. This is not a McCort favored website, its a website to give attention towards every local team/coach. We are more than happy to cover any team or game, or feature any team around here that is having success. If anyone can find a site that accommodates the local athlete more, go ahead and follow their coverage. We feel we do a good job, and we stand by our product.
This website is to bring coverage to you, and help build exposure towards local players. We love what we do, and the bias or criticism that is brought up on here will no longer be addressed by me. If ESPN answered everyone of their critics, it would be out of hand. I just can't keep up with the complaints on an everyday basis.
Hope everyone understands this explanation, and we appreciate the kind words as equally as the constructive criticism, I just can't please everybody.

for what it's worth, I watched the broadcast and did not take note of any bias for or against either team.

Keep up the great work D6 Network. The live games are just the icing on the cake. I enjoy and appreciate the podcasts and the write ups of ALL the local teams. Thanks for all the time and work involved.

Thank you D6 Network for all your hard work this year. You do a great job of covering all the local teams! Just let the negativity roll right off your back and keep doing what you do best. People who project negativity typically have low self-esteem. They feel badly about themselves, and their negativity is simply a reflection of those feelings.

Can't help d6sportsnetwork coverage truly belongs to lhac. They miss things like that
Konjo. you are nothing but a clown. you said how weak the lhac was this year. then the 4th or 5th best team knocked your all mighty comets out of the play offs that you thought were going to be state champs. they may have won the heritage but in my opinion, they weren't even the best team in the conference. you talked down how weak the other conferences were as well, such as west pac and icc.
anyone that has read my posts in the past knows i have been overly critical of the private schools so i am definitely not a mccort supporter stick up for them.
these are two guys who put a lot of hard work into getting the d6sn off the ground. you obviously have no clue what goes into a broadcast. i felt they have done a great job broadcasting the big games of the week of all conferences, if anything i felt they were more than fair and didn't show any favoritism or bias towards any of the conferences this year, much less mccort. there announcing is also pretty good. do you have any idea how much research it takes to provide background information to fill in the dead spots between plays, time outs, etc. obviously not because these two guys are doing what dozens of people do to do a college, nfl, or even a local newscast. they are responsible for setting up, filming, getting sponsors, handling the paperwork to get approved to do the broadcast when applicable, researching background info, etc.
GREAT JOB D6SN! don't let the naysayers get you down. I look forward to the continued success of the network and to the improvements you are able to make for next year!

Thanks everybody, and seriously the crowd tweets were not jabs at the schools.
Its a Holiday weekend with poor weather, yet still the Championships. I've been to Mansion Park plenty of times for these games, and it seemed down. Wasn't intentionally calling out the schools. I mean, come on I'm a Pitt guy, my life is about attendance jabs lol. Obviously not having a local team from Blair County will hurt the attendance. Not that coming from Johnstown is a huge deal, but you lose the casual fan crowd that Tyrone and Bellwood get.
Not to mention Pitt at 12:00, and Penn State at 3:30 sure didn't help things on Saturday. Some people may not have wanted to sit through two football games.
And the poor weather on both nights. I mean Friday, there was still plenty of out of towners at my house. Some people aren't going to up and leave with family at the house.
I mean if you think I was defending McCort's crowd, show me what I said.
"May be a small crowd, hopefully that means plenty of viewers"
"By our count McCort has 6 fans"
"Crowd Picking up slowly"
And Friday night, my tweets were not to be taken like jabs, I was just expecting a bigger crowd. I know Forest Hills travels as well as any school around. And I thought Richland going for the gold for the first time would be a big draw also. The crowd was better midway through the first quarter, little bit of a late arriving crowd. Just didn't take the time to acknowledge it cause I was broadcasting

Crimson, keep up the great work. We will never agree on the whole "private school thing" but for people who work shifts and miss some friday/saturday games your broardcasts are my ticket to see these games.
