Chestnut Ridge faces District 4 champion Central Columbia this morning at 9; the winner has to get past a dropping semifinalist in the last consolation round to guarantee a medal.
... they must only give medals to the top 4 teams ... which does seem consistent with not having 5-6 and 7-8 matches (like they do for individuals).
So, the team had to get to the Consi finals to get a medal ... AND THEY DID! Way to go Lions!
