Consolidation would help solve this problem. Merge Windber and Conemaugh Township into Northern Somerset High. Make all the idiots coach and root for the same team.

I got things straight from the horses mouth. That is the police officers involved in the incident. First, no coach was tazed. Second, as far as they know, no player was struck by a coach. At least, there was no complaint filed against anyone doing that as of Saturday afternoon. Maybe a complaint has been filed since then but I haven't been told that is the case.
Pretty much, the coaches were screaming at the refs. The refs waved in the police to intervene. When the coach decided to try and make their way around the officer to get to the ref he was taken down.

well there ya go...I was waiting for the rumor to turn into...Once the police were distracted by the coaches, Charlie Sheen made his way onto the field and began play Enter Sandman on bagpipe without the use of his hands. I'd like to know who starts these rumors haha

Yeah..rumors are just that..rumors. They even started that crap on the Windber football boosters facebook page...postings about a coach hitting a player and one being tazed. Since then they have all been taken down.

Btw, for anyone who cares, the referees are always directed to handle these types of on the field incidents themselves. If they at any time feel threatened, they are to wave the officers to the field to help control things.
That's exactly what happened here. The refs tried to calm matters, Township coaches wouldn't stop so the police were called onto the field to help settle things down. One Township coach wouldn't stop, decided to try to make way around the police officers to get to the ref, so he was taken down. He was not tazed, beaten or anything like that.

How can u say "don't pull a penn state" when the school was not the one who punished the players, it was the NCAA

Yes, but whether it's the PIAA or the school that would cancel the rest of the season, it would still be similar to the situation of Penn State where the players are punished for what was clearly out of their own hands. It was just a reference, calm down

These kids are not getting scholarships for high school. But if ramblin man is correct, which I believe, then both sides should be put on probation. And maybe even the referees and police department need
To be investigated pretty far as well. Either way conamaugh has its hands full with homer center this week

no they're not from Bishop McCort lol. Just kidding let's not bring that up, but you understand what I mean. The kids should not have to suffer from the actions of the adults.

I agree. No matter what happens. The kids should not suffer because of how the adults have acted.
