BA, MtUnion, NB, and JV all done. ICC took a beating. TM remains and is my pick to win D5

Coach, we all know that NBC would kill the Steelers at this point. So don't go using that one

How was NBC suppose to get CR? The only open week was 10 and CR played Bedford. And next year week 1 Everett is playing CR. Week ten next year is already filled for CR, too. NBC played the only team available, plus it was a AAA team. NBC isn't dodging anybody.

Maybe it's just me, but I find it very ironic that someone from Ridge blames NBC for getting them kicked out of the ICC and gets on NBC for a weak schedule. Wouldn't Ridge playing in the ICC constitute Ridge playing a weak schedule? I mean they are AA and the ICC is mostly single A. Maybe you don't remember the days of Ridge in the ICC going 8-2 or 7-3 and they getting their butts kicked in the playoffs by other teams with a worse record. Good times, good times.
When they did get in a AA conference they quickly tucked their tail and ran. Bailed on the MAC deal and has pretty much burned all bridges so they travel all over now just to get games.

I thought it was Tussey's fault that CR got kicked out and kept them from getting back in this year.

Absolutely clueless and classless post by analyst.

So please enlighten me. Which part is clueless? Did not Ridge, a AA school play in the A ICC, have gaudy records then lose to teams with worse records?
Didn't they join the LHAC, only to win a few games a year, and get out?
Weren't they offered membership in the MAC, said they would join then decided at the last minute not to?
Mind you, I'm not talking about currently, I'm talking about the past. Currently, Ridge plays a pretty tough schedule and with all that travel makes it even more difficult. And they have a nice team and I think are building a good program there. I wish they could find a partner and join the LHAC. The problem with AA Bedford county schools is there isn't a good conference fit for all sports and football takes precedence at most schools.
I was more taking a shot at apbk since he brought it up and was jumping on NBC for having a weak schedule and they're an A school playing in an A conference.

When you take a shot at someone at the expense of ridge that's classless. When you said ridge burned bridges that's clueless.
You made the statement now back it up. Not just garbage hearsay and rumors repeated over and over. Don't know who you are but unless you have been a coach at ridge or have actually attended conf mtgs with other ad's about ridges situation enlighten us or pot shot someone else and don't insult a school's athletic program in the process.
I used to do the same thing on here years ago and it just fuels animosity and is not productive for anybody.

What I said is the perception that I think most people have of Ridge. Most of us aren't in those meetings, so people believe what they hear. And that perception becomes reality for them when no one speaks up to clear up any misinformation and that is what is heard over many years.
In reality, what do I think really happened with Ridge? Some schools probably got tired of losing to Ridge in the ICC and did their best to get them out. Then when they went to the LHAC they may have felt they were in over their heads, or the LHAC was going to make them join for all sports and Ridge didn't want to. And they probably thought joining the MAC was a good idea at first but after considering all the travel that was involved, plus it seemed like there would be openings in the LHAC or WestPAC that would be much better for them, they didn't pull the trigger on going to the MAC. That's what I really think happened.
But like I said, I don't think that is the perception many people have.
My post was more aimed at one person who seems to have a problem with NBC, which I don't get. NBC has a really nice program. I don't have a dog in the fight. Sorry if I offended you or others.

I do have a few things to point out:
-Ridge was in the LHAC (where I have always said they should be) before they were in the ICC. The ICC let them back in and then something happened that it fell apart. When they left, many people felt that schools in the same county as Ridge didn't do anything to help them out. Did they burn bridges, yes!!!
-You mention that it's hard to be a AA school in Bedford county but Bedford and Everett are AA.
-I don't have a "dog in the fight." I was just pointing out what I seen. I have ties to all schools in the county and cheer for all of them.
-I was simply pointing out that NBC has a history of not having the most difficult schedule and some of that is their own doing. It doesn't matter to me who they play.
