Imagine that every basketball coach in the state called the Tribune Democrap sports desk last night to report their scores. After all, we've been told here, time and again, it's up to the COACHES or a responsible representative of the schools, to call in the scores. Oh, wait....that must have HAPPENED, because they actually reported FIRST-ROUND scores from all over the state. I can only imagine all those folks with free minutes to burn on their cell phones. Isn't 21st century technology wonderful?
It ain't over until it's over.

They probably picked up an AP wire. Isn't it sad we live in a world where it's easier to get a score from Pittsburgh than just having a local AD or coach call in their own.

Nice schedule D6 committee, McCort is rated higher than Tyrone and Westmont in both the girls and boys brackets. Tyrone gets a double header at BC and Westmont gets one at Central Cambria. McCort's crowd gets split for some reason.

Not to mention they have McCort and Westmont girls going past vacant Richland to play in Ebensburg.

D6 basketball seems to have hit a low. They should just save neutral courts for semis and finals. 2 rounds before home teams should get games

Maybe Richland didn't bid to host games. And by having the games at BC/CC it allows fans from all 3 teams to see both games, even if someone has switch gyms between games. I think D6 does the best they can in these situations but everyone is not always going to be pleased.

Yeah it's tough when only 4-5 gyms are able to do it.

I was told the Richland administration was surprised they haven't gotten any games.
