I'm probably biased, but I think McCort's gym is "nicer" than a lot of the gyms listed higher. It's just smaller.
That's fair, and the new skybox or whatever is a nice touch. I remember when I was in high school sitting in the front row where the students sit now for a game. Students sat across from their bench in those days IIRC. Your post reminds me how lacking I am in LHAC b-ball gyms despite the fact I've been to every football venue with the exception of the new BC field. I guess it's just harder to travel on weekdays then one football game a week on Friday or Saturday.

I have a question on the number of teams participating. If a team qualifies but does not participate, what happens. Is it a bye? Does the first team out get in? This subject was discussed at the Purchase Line School board meeting last night. Purchase line has a written policy that says NO .500 record, NO playoffs. A request was made to change the policy. After discussion it was tabled for consideration.

Correspondence received from District 6 today states that if a qualifying team turns down an invitation to the playoffs, the next team in line does not qualify. For example; If 12 out of 16 teams qualify and team #12 refuses the invite, #13 does not make the tournament.

Team 5 would then receive a bye. Makes sense.

Ok, thank you.
