Dovey is a no brainer for SHL 1st team.
Sophmore, 20 pts per, 12 boards per, and those averages were consistent pretty much no matter what teams she was playing.

Dovey worked extremely hard for ALL of her points. When her team needed her she pulled through. Anyone that watched her play would be astounded by the fact that she is only a sophomore.

Dovey is by far a def. pick for 1st team SHL. She had her best games against the better teams that they were up against. Dovey played each game with consistency. She is a good all around player. With her only being a sophomore I am def. looking forward to her years to come.

I'm curious as to what you've heard, please share details!

I will point out that Everett boys lost twice to SHL champs Southern Fulton. Can you tell me why Fulton County shouldn't be well represented?

I'm sworn to secrecy on the team's makeup. Lets put it this way the national media coverage leans to the left politically and the SHL leans heavily towards Fulton County. Im not implying Fulton county shouldn't be well represented. But not represented as well as it is. if you've seen a lot of league games this year you will be shocked as to how it turned out.

Dragbunt says "just heard through the grapevine whose on the SHL all-star team. it definetly had a good ole boy Fulton County flavor."

First of all I don't know who Mr. Grapevine's source is but this information is not for public information until March 15. The only people that should know are the Players who made the first team and possibly their coaches and they shouldn't even know who the other All-Stars are. They are only informed so that they can be prepared to attend the Media Photo Op on March 16.

Second of all I think the "flavor" is pretty equal. In the interest of disspelling rumors and innuendos, I don't think I would be out of line or to state that both Boys and Girls All-Star Teams, 1st and 2nd Teams, have exactly 10 Bedford and 10 Fulton/Franklin members.

Also you might be surprised when you find out who had the most all-stars (1st, 2nd, HM) selected on one of the squads...

Little reminder to byrd cage....One night after Forbes secured a TM sweep, in comes Northern Bedford and beats the "byrds" in their own nest. Not sure there was a sweep of Ridge either.
