I have to admit I didn't hear of him before the draft but several teams had him as high as the 4th best CB prospect in the draft.
The way I understand it, he pretty much dominated at his level of play. D11. Out of the 20 games he started, the receiver he was covering was shut out eleven times. The Steelers actually thought he was the best man to man cover corner in the draft. I also heard the Titans (Tusculum is in Tennessee) were going to pick him before us thus the trade up to get him. I hated to see them give up a 4th rounder but the more I read about this guy, the more I like the pick. Colclough, Taylor and Polamalu is some serious speed in the secondary.
I also read that Colclough is a top notch punt/kickoff returner--I think he scored four TD's on returns his senior year.
