How do you know that without Shaq that Kobe will be like Tracy McGrady. Kobe is a better all around player than McGrady. Also, Kobe will not go to a team thats not going to be a contender because he won't go anywhere at all. He needs Shaq. Shaq needs him. They will both be playing for the Lakers next year. You just wait and see.

ok, fine, if they are both playing for the lakers next year, i wont be suprised at all. im not saying they wont be. im saying that whenever kobe is on a team w/o shaq(which will one day happen), he will be like tracy mcgrady. they are very similar players. kobe is the better defender but i think mcgrady is a tougher match up for defenses.

why do i think kobe will be like mcgrady when he does not have shaq on his team???

going into the nba finals, who are the piston's most worried about stopping? whenever teams play the lakers, they focus on shaq. they cannot stop shaq but they form their defense around him. kobe reaps the benefits. if kobe were the lone star on the team, he would be the focus of the defenses. he would be in be like tracy mcgrady.

i challenge that kobe could be exchanged with 5 other nba players next season, and the lakers wouldnt miss a step. these players are allen iverson, tracy mcgrady, paul pierce, baron davis, or lebron james. yea, lebron james folks, get used to it. he is the real deal.
