They are on quite a run. They have an outstanding RB named Kirk Elsworth. He is a human highlight film. It has been quite a privilege to watch him play.

On the other side of the ball they have a tremendous defense. I beleive they pitched 5 shutouts and only allowed 50 points scored against them this season.

A lot of skilled seniors that will see college actoin in the future.

I do believe we have a record here folks. Dawg has posted a record 10 consecutive posts. I don't think that's been done before.

Well if thats the only record I have in here then I will own it with pride. Since Gunner seems to set everything else!

We found out last night that we play Livonia- Clarenceville at home the first game of the playoffs next friday night. We played and beat them at their field last year in the District Championship game.

They will be ready for revenge.

1 hour to tailgate time.

2 hours to game time!

Round 1 of the Playoffs.

Weather is damp with the threat of a thunder storm!

Great night for HS football!

Goodrich Martians 42

Livonia-Clarenceville 7.

It was close for awhile 7-7. First time we had been tied in a long time. The defense only allowed 93 yards rushing. Through 10 games they have allowed 61 points to be scored against them.

We play next friday night in the District Championship game against Montrose. Our League rival that we beat during the regular season. Look for a knock down drag out fight.

Crdawg,

What classification is that in Michigan? How many do they have? Biggest to Smallest?

There are 4 Classifications. A, B, C, D
A would be like a quad A.

For the Football playoffs they have a requirement of winning 6 games to make the playoffs. They have 256 slots to fill. Next all 256 teams are ranked top to bottom by size. Then 8 Regional groups of 32 are formed. From the 32 they form 4 Districts based on location which are paired up based on record and strength of schedule. They will eventually end up with 4 State Champions.

Goodrich ended the regular season ranked #5 in the State in Division 4. For whatever thats worth. What matters is how they finish up the season.

Does that answer your question?

How is the weather looking for this friday?

Right now we are getting a report of heavy winds, temps in the 40s, and a chance of some snow.
