a 40+ fg is quite a task for a high school kicker. both of these guys can make that kick and have made big kicks in games. in a close game with a live rush, a 40+ yd fg is at best a coin flip gamble tho. that is no knock on these 2 guys either b/c pro and college kickers miss 40+ yd fg's at the end of games all the time.

Kyler Ford hit a 42 yarder against CC to win the game, not much more pressure there than any other time. I think Bill Dibert is the heaviest guy on the line this year, weighing around 200 if he's lucky. Maybe Middle is bigger, but I doubt it.

i am well aware that he made that kick. it was quite an accomplishment then and would be even more impressive to do it again with the undefeated regular season on the line.

I'd say this game is evenly matched. It's going to come down to who wants it more, but I think they're even on that too. It should come down to who has more experience, but they both have that as well. . . So I'd lay it on the kickers' foot, no wait, both have good kickers too, you get the picture. . .

Bishop McCort 28 OT

I am going to be on the sidelines cheering for Bedford this Friday... I hear McCort has some strong players but Bedford has some fast players... so its going to be a good match up... good luck to the Bedford team and coaches...

wasnt going undefeated on the line at the central cambria...and westmont games as well? ford is excellent under pressure, id say probly more so than domonkos...i love kickers so in that sense i hope it comes down the foot, but then again seeing bedford win by a considerable margin would be much nicer

to finally clear this up, the point i am trying to make is: the fact that he made the kick against CC does not make another game winning kick any easier. a coin flip resulting in heads does not have any influence on the insuing coin flip, the odds are still 50/50. kyler is a money player and kicker, but a lot can still go wrong on a 40 yd kick; bad snap, bad hold, bad footing, wind gust, missed blocking assignment, dead ball, or he could simply not hit the ball flush. the latter being less likely than for most other kickers b/c of his abilities. same goes for the domonkos guy.

The same that you mentioned can happen on an extra point too austin. Either the kick is made, or its missed, all the variables you mentioned before can't be control by the kicker, but when his time comes, it's his job to knock it through, and K Ford has done that this year...
