calm down ancient. It is a message board and I come on here for some info about some things. I don't need anyone like you to get on here and think you know everything because we had those type of people before and it was not fun. I get on here for amusement most of the time unless someone posts intelligently!!

I'm not worked up. I just want you to contribute. You played, so you can bring a player's perspective to the discussions. You don't seem to want to do that, and you sit and tell everyone else why they are wrong. Tell us why that is. I want you to say, "Boise sucks because they don't teach their players to play tight man-coverage in a spread formation" or whatever, etc., etc.

i coached as well at that big level too. How did you get that info about me?? where are you from?

All I am saying is, you are a in a position to be a unique voice in these college football discussions. Instead of saying that no one knows what they are talking about when we rank teams, provide an answer as to why you think that is. If I rank NC State real high, or any other team, show why they don't deserve that notion. Saying that we don't know anything insinuates that you do. I'm not baiting you here, I genuinely want you to show why teams, in their offenses and defenses, are not as good as we or anyone else says they are. I would love to hear that kind of stuff.

I believe Palko took a redshirt last year, after playing some as a true freshman the year before. Therefore he COULD NOT have taken any snaps for Pitt last year. This, of course, gave him 3 years as a starter, barring injury. I'd say that it was a wise move on Walt Harris' part for Pitt's future.

ESPN has Palko listed as a junior. As for Getsky, was he redshirted too? Who was the backup? No one?

Last year Getsy was the back-up. Getsy redshirted the year before during his academic freshman year. Palko played during his freshman year, but redshirted his academic sophomore year last year. So football wise they were both redshirt sophomores coming into this year.
