I agree it was wasted, but if he was redshirted...he would have probably not signed with us and wouldn't have helped us recruiting other guys.

I think NOT redshirting him shows the recruits at skill positions that he is going to be the man next year. Robinson will probably remain a receiver or move to another position even. I think it is more of a "show" thing than anything else. I hope it works and Williams signs with PSU.

Good point. But then please play him for more than mop up work against Akron and an INT against Indiana.

I remember with such glee seeing a young (and healthy) Zack Mills come into games and lead us to victory, and a record breaking win over OSU. I so longed for the same from AM this year, but came up short.

I just think with JoePa being the Coach, why would you go there as a WR or DB. They are not a powerhouse throwing team. they have usually but I don't think they are getting them anymore but good DL, OL, RB, and LBs but now that their line stinks the backs don't want to go there! Ask Gwaltney about this issue?

I agree with Hollywood once again. PSU might have a good defense, but I'd rather go to a winning team than a 3-win team. That's just me, though.

yes all your effort is not appreciated when you lose regardless of how well you do if you don't win games!! Great players will go to winning teams for the most part!!

since you have first hand expierience with some losing seasons in an otherwise winning program (1999 wvu 4-7, 2000 7-5 and 2001 3-8 with the only games won against rutgers, kent st and ohio) you would be a good person to enlighten us all on how psu is to go from a losing record to a winning record like wvu did. did they bring in better recruits, did the guys they had get better or was it a change of coaches or what was it???????? what do you think?

Goodbuddy, you have a PSU helmet as an avatar. You should know what the problem is, and it's very obviously the playcalling. WVU brought in a new coach when Nehlen was out, and he took the program to the next level... theoretically. We gotta watch how much credit we give WVU. They definitely lost 5 games last season, and this year lost to the 2 best teams they played. Don't hype WVU just because they SHOULD win the Big East, when it's so watered down it's almost pathetic. I'm not saying Rodriquez isn't a good coach. He's clearly brought in some real good players. But the bottom line is that WVU hasn't accomplished anything yet.
