these crybabies are so funny to listen to. They have no clue about catholic schools or anything. Me personally i know coming from a public school to a catholic school is a big jump and i dont regret it. It is your choice to come to mccort, u dont get forced. if u do get forced its by your parents not the school. we dont illegally send letters to people and talk to people, there is enough alumni that love the school to do things like that. What i mean is that the kids from public schools hear good mostly good words about our school and want to be a part of its prestige and tradition. SO make of it what you want D-BAGS

Yeah, im not really following that either. As a parent I would much rather care for my childs education than athletics, and if there wasn't football in our area, I wouldnt move just so my kid could play football. Im sure if football were to shut down in the laurel highlands people could survive. Basketball is big in our area, as well as baseball. Didnt Somerset make it to the state championship last year?
As far as McCort, they also are good in other athletics, just because they lose football that means the school would shutdown? Why, would they lose enrollment from recruiting going down the drain?

I agree with the parent's rights tosend their kids to any school they want to help their in any way theycan. My point is that they shouuld NOT be allowed to play A when they have students coming to their school from another school district. The public schools simply are NOT allowed to do that. That is my point. Under a public co-op situation the 2 schools MUST count all the boys in grades 9-12 not just the one or two that play the sport. That is where the unfairness comes in. That is my point. Notice I didn't say the R****** word. That isn't the issue. Playing at the A or AA level is UNFAIR to the public schools that has been my point all along.

Im not trying to sound like a jerk here, but theres not too much any one of us can do about it. Why constantly get worked up over it? No one has won anything yet. Heard from a friend that follows some of these teams and he feels Bellwood, PL, and Portage will all give BM a run for their money. Although I feel BM thoroughly outplayed BG and has improved in the passing game, I do not want to see them again in the playoffs. BM has a steep road ahead of them and I hope Kenny has been telling that to his guys. LHAC doesnt mean anything without a D6 crown.

I agree with Defense. The McCort boys better not think this thing is in the bag. In 2001, BA gave us everything we could handle. I'm sure the coaches will remind them of that. Another thing, I hope that all the McCort people on here talking **** are not players, because that will come back to bite you in the arse...
Just one fact for AmusedChatter. Bill Lewis didn't work for the Bishop Carrol School District. He was the Business Administrator for the J-town/Altoona Dioc. His office was at BC and later moved to BM. Maybe Kenny recruited him too!!
Bring on the vouchers and let people go were they want to; so this doesn't come up on every thread.
Good luck to all in the playoffs especially the Crushers!!

El moldo....what do you think it means....its self explanatory.....the football program gets more advantages then the rest of the school.
Bishop McCort wouldnt function without football.
Im a non football player but i just see how it is in the school and the school would cease to exist without it.
But agreed....the Wadleys and Lewiss its been discussed before....theres nothing anyone on here can bring to that issue....none of you know either of the kids or their families so there isnt anything you guys can say because all your knowledge on the subject is hearsay.

Wow crimson....that LaRod comment really struck a nerve with you! You guys must be close.
If I weren't an athlete and I were in the same situation as one that was struggling with academics, but I really brought nothing to the table, would I be helped as much as an athlete at mccort?
