Number 6, i am number 8 and i don't even play the right side, either you got the numbers mixed up or something but even if you did our right defender is good too. But you shouldnt sit here bragging it up, you hit one rip that was decent and it sailed over, and you had a goal, Congrats man. But you wouldn't even be in the top 5 best players on our team. you know we gave you guys your respect on your win, but were tired of hearing it, we'd love to play you guys 10 more times and we would win everytime and call me cocky i do not really care at all. And its sad that you guys keep saying, welp im in 10th grade and i start. Okay we have about 5 people who have started there first year of varsity meaning ninth grade. With those conditions it does not matter your skill or anything. All it comes down to is who wanted it more, and maybe you guys did but thats all i will give you, no way no how do you have the skill we have.

Also, you guys had 9 shots meaning you guys suck offensively or our defense is good? Our sweeper was injured he could hardly run, you absouletly have no idea how much luck was on your side. Hope to god we will see you next year because we are going to pound it at you.

I guess I am just tired of hearing, why dont you just stop making excuses and accept the loss, The weather was the same for both teams the other night, I dont know who won the toss, but either way, the wind and snow kept coming, maybe letting up a little in the second half, but the temperature also dropped in the second half where it was warmer or colder in the first, the field was sloppier in the second half, the snow was blowing in your faces both directions and who cares anyway, we cant change the weather, the elements are part of the game. I think there has been nothing bad said about CT except there was a weak defender, and he wasnt even sure of the number, so dont take it personally, but they didnt say your defense sucks, unfortunately for you, you did say NB's offense sucks, I know offensively NB was out shot by CT , not sure of the whole game totals but you say NB had 9 shots on goal and I know there was atleast 16 shots for CT in the second half, but I am no odds maker nor math major but if I or anyone was taking odds, I or they would definitely take odds on 2 of 9 (22%) rather than 1 of 16 (.0625% conservatively) and that is very conservative, the real point is that NB hit the back of the net 2 times and CT 1, I guess I would start wondering what the definition of that word ("sucks")really means.
I think there is alot to be said about how peoples words may come out on text. I know for a fact that NB 6 and NB 3 players were not being derogatory in any manner, just simply making a statement or two. How they were received on the other end is not intended to be hurtful in anyway, especially when someone says something like they "SUCKED". Their record does not reflect the team they are, their record for the last 2 games has been 0 and 0 at the beginning of them, each game now, is as someone posted earlier, is the playoffs and it is a new season. How true and thats how they approach each game.
And who cares how many players on the team were sophomores or freshman, etc., or who was starters or not, the whole point here is they all consist of a team of 11 who have one ultimate goal in the end, that is to do their job and play as 1. Sophomores or seniors, who cares?
Simply put, the game is over, the score is final and although CT has had an outstanding season, unfortunately there has to be a winner and loser at this juncture of the season and I know it hurts, but NB moves on and needs to continue to do a great job as a team and play with their heart, because that is their game, HEART, and if you want to say some luck, then thats fine, we always wish those taking on any new endeavors, GOOD LUCK; after all as
Roy D. Chapmin Jr. has said:
"Be ready when opportunity comes...Luck is the time when preparation and opportunity meet.
They (Fans and Players) gave many nice comments to CT and will continue to, They were the some of the best sportsmen NB played all year, and received nice ones from many also, but when the negative ones start flying, enough is enough. You both played a fantastic game and CT has had a great season, and NB, congrats on yours too and "good luck" as it continues, just both teams dont let your words start to ruin your reputation, intentionally or unintentionally, think before you type. There has been some really nice sportsmanship comments posted, but people will start to gather their own opinions and start to wonder if the negative comments continue to fly. And as far as making comments on next year, we ought to live life one day at a time, after all, only GOD knows what tomorrow brings!!

Nbsoccer6 they aint really that good but they do come out very strong
like i said man the biggest things to watch for is their throw ins and their corners
also the defense is pretty strong in the middle so you are going to have to work the outside some

ok your sitting here going on and on ctsoccerdylan 8. you lost, accept it. i never said you guys sucked. as a matter of fact, you guys were good. and ive heard multiple times about if you had one of your injured players it would have been a different story, well thats the game, injuries occur. all i said was you were the weakest defender. ive heard ct had a few outstanding players.

Guys you know what i would have to say the team that seems cocky was Conemaugh Twp. on here. You had a couple players on here saying we will win the d5 title, not we are one of the best, they said we are the best and we will pound every team in d5 if i remember correctly.
I don`t care how many shots you had on goal, that doesnt matter at all, i remember in my junior year one game we had 38 shots to the other teams 4 shots and they won 1-0 on a breakaway goal.
They deserved to win because they finished and we didn`t plain and simple , no excuses. We had injuries , but its soccer every team has injuries.
I have not seen any players on here from NBC trashing the players fromTwp. and if NB6 is who i think he is which would be i think Curtis Bumbaugh(spelling)? i have nothing but respect for him as a player, and for your info im not from any of these schools involved, i am the former coach at Forbes Road and i have seen him play enough to know what kind of player and person he is and he is a class act.
I must say i am surprised by NBC`s run , but i wish them luck as being the sole representative from the SHL.

ct has some talkers, thats just how it is.. i never
trashed anyone, just posted scores, but you see,
there was only some we don't need to say
this as if Conemaugh TWP. was the cocky team on these boards,
one or two people can post as many times, and if you are fool
enough to think that makes a team cocky and not classy
then thats up to you. Also, lol ever since we lost our first game to Berlin,
no one has said anything cocky from ct, except maybe a prediction
that we though we were going to make it to the finals,
its just i'm pretty sure if ct was the team
that everyone makes them out to be on these boards, i'm pretty sure we would
have done something by the end of the game, or afterwards to let our
"arrogance" out. and i mean, i look at "soccerdylan8"'s post, and like, he's just
defending himself, personally i dont see where the nbc kid was getting the fact
that he was a weakness on our team, most of their attacking was down their LEFT
side or down the center, due to injuries for ct, and NO I AM NOT making excuses, just
stating facts, people are mistaking excuses for facts, and if you didnt notice, on THESE
boards, no one from ct made any excuses or said anything of trash to any NBC people,
we humbly accepted our defeat, but as a team, we obviously don't think that NBC
is a better quality team than us, but that they just beat us to getting the ball in the net,
which has hardly been an issue for ct.. and its hard to tell how good ANY team is in the
conditions that we played in. THAT is why some kids have been bringing up the weather
NOT because we are using it as an excuse.
i just think some people need to breathe and just watch the words we say, because obviously
this was a tough loss for fannet-metal, berlin, and ct... and on any night THAT NIGHT
was not a good night to judge on how good a team truly is. i feel if we played those two semi finals a few
more times, there could have been quite a few different results.
i'm done, im also just sick of people patting themselves in the back, (soccermom)

Who cares if were cocky? We predicted we will win D5? what team doesn not think they are going too? If your are not shooting for that prize then idc, im sure jcs goal was that they were going to win D5, and im sure that some of them believed they could, so we say it? WHO CARES. Its also sad people have to get on here and start a flame over these forums, nbsoccer6, isn't even him thats the sad part. So i basically wasted my time writing that post.
