First, I am not a Ranger's fan, just a fan of D6 football.
I was also at the game and liked the call to go for two. The Rangers were not able to stop Burns (#27 ) and Wilson? (#24) all night. Because of their inability to stop the Greyhounds running attack Bailey probably felt the outcome would not come down to the field goal kicker in OT. Thus his decision to go for the win in regulation. As for the play call, I would have rather seen him him run the counter that was so effective in the second half as opposed to the halfback pass. Having said that, I must also point out that even though the pass was thrown to the short receiver and broken up McCombie was wide open in the back of the end zone. So maybe, just maybe, old DonBo knows a little more about play calling than some on here would like to give him credit for.
Regardless of the outcome,GREAT SEASON RANGERS and you can be proud of the way you represented District 6!
