The topic says it all. Congrats PSU Men's Basketball. You've found another way to lose, getting outscored 24-8 at the end of the second half to send the game into overtime. And the play call by PSU at the end of regulation with the score tied 60-60 was PATHETIC. Letting Battle dribble around for 12 seconds and then launching some kind of wild, maniacal 3-pointer was a disgrace to college basketball.

I think some of you are blind to the fact of how bad psu basketball really is and will do anything to divert attention to it. Regardless of how Pitt did today is not relevent to this post. Maybe the nitters need to look at the big picture here and compare the two programs and where each is at this moment.

Nope, PSU had one in the 50s or 60s.

I really think you may have the mental capacity of a 5 year old. PSU FANS KNOWS THE BASKETBALL PROGRAM SUCKS. I alluded to this in a previous post.
El-Moldo wrote:Didn't the Beach Boys have a big hit "Be True to Your School"? Too bad alot of PSU fans have the same attitude as abpk, that being "PSU fans don't like to associate with a losing product". So that's why they stay away in droves from men's basketball at the BJC. Tough attitude for the Nits to take, isn't it?

So what is the problem with Pitt fans? I recall the football team having its best season in 3 decades this season and over half the home games had 15,000+ empty seats. They had to give away bowl tickets. At least when Penn State does put a winning product on the field the fans will go out and support them. I'm sorry but when the basketball team is garbage I will not waste my time or money supporting them. If they were even competitive at all I would be at most of the games. I'm a Junior and the last 2 years I attended about 10 games each year and they weren't exactly blowing the doors off of their opponents but this year I have been to 1 and that will be it. I'm sorry I don't have every waking moment devoted to Penn State like you and WPIAL do. Get a life.

Since it is basketball or baketball season we can stick to that sport. But your post about Herb Pope pretty much sealed your fate that you dont know alot about college basketball, so lets not talk about anything.
