This goes out to all of the ridge track haters! the CR fella's was one of the dominate teams about 2 years ago, the loss of key runners, and the lack of experience had the lions out of the head lines for a minute! though the girls have always had a pretty solid team! thanks to coach harlan! this year though will be different in the guys events! the Young brothers should have the pole vault spot locked! Joe utz will be one of the top high jumpers. and yes, J-Rod will be a major threat in his events, ad well as Colby Mock! Coach I. will definitely have this years team looking like the teams of ridge's past! As for the ladies Katie O will be a main force as well as Amy WY. hopefully Kari Byers will be back strong this year as well
anyways,
we all know about the harris, marshall bedford thing, we all know that they are good, but 3 people can't carry the whole team. i don't care how great they are! i'm not being a hater i'm just stating a fact that overall ridge has solid athletes in all events in both genders!

u say 3 people cant carry a team..but u only mention 5...kinda contradicting urself arent ya???? and from the sounds of things, "J-ROD" is this half-man half-god character that is going to carry the entire weight of the chestnut ridge track team on his shoulders and guide them to triumphant victory!...but back to reality...he may win a few races, heck he may even win districts...but im sticking with my initial thought that ridge as a team will not win districts nor will they come close

i was just saying names of other track members on the ridge team. i was not saying that those "5" people were going to dominate. Neither did i say that J-rod was Half god. i was just saying that ridge will be strong this year! in both boys and girls.

well maybe us bedford people are just naming some names too..did u ever think of that? obviously we have more than the harris's and marshalls...but those 4 have the best chance of medaling at states so y not talk about them?

This forum thread is entitled "Ridge Track"...let's at least try to stick to the subject although of course it will get off-subject at times, as well as all other forum rooms do. If we want to talk about and argue about Ridge/Bedford, let's make another forum room please. And I'll let someone else do the honor of making it cause I'm too lazy to and don't really feel like starting a room full of arguments, but in any case...be my guest.

Maybe all this trash talk about Ridge will actually help them. It may sound funny , but when someone says that they are better or have more assets (in this case speed, strength, etc) it can do things. It might light a fire under their butts. I know my instant reaction would be, I'm gonna prove you wrong.

My adivice to All of Ridge Track: Use these negative posts about YOUR team as motivation. Don't allow it to get under your skin.
