Exhibit 1: Ligonier's record against teams close to their size this year is?????
Exhibit 2: The scores if Ligonier played GCC and Jeannette( a AA team with the enrollment of Penns Manor) would be? Anyone else guessing 70-10 if Muzzy and Coach Ahll play only backups in the second half??

Exhibit 3: The swamped parking area at Ligonier,

Exhibit 4: The whining and crying of a certain AD in the paper talking about seeding and the lack of preparation for their non-revenue generating teams...typical, young, inexperienced at my job mentality.

First, congrats on the great win against Bellwood and District 6-0 championship. It was a beatdown. Ferens and Vodapivic (spelling?) couldn't be stopped. Bellwood was unprepared for Ferens speed (I'm guessing around 11.0 in the 100m speed) and the cutbacks.

Call it what you want, but It sounds to me like you were looking for an easier way to maintain an undefeated season. Then again maybe you would have beat the AAAA school and got a ton of respect for the program instead of option for the easy way out like penns manor is known for.

Penns Manor has the reputation of being dirty and chippy becuase over the past 10-20 years they have been. This new group may have changed, they may not have, but its a reputation they have to shed. It doesn't help when the coach acts like a jackwagon in the past in the newspapers and on the radio tries to declare themselves co-champs when they lost the head to head matchup. bill packer thats who.

just go to 2:58:40

Now fast forward to 2010- You got the Heritage Conference Championship and then to 2011 the District 6-0 championship. you and uncle billy packer can claim being champs all you want. It just rubs people the wrong way when you try to claim you are champs when you really aren't.
Haha UNCLE Billy? I can't blame them for doing what they did. Week 8 typically isn't an easy week to fill and I don't think you would want to get someone hurt by playing a huge school going into the playoffs. As I said before, you're a narrow minded nancy and drama queen. Quit crying on here.

Hornets - Dude, you keep going back to 2 years ago, and now you're using that as an indictment of Bill Packer as a "jackwagon". I'm not sure you're worthy of any additional effort on my part, but here goes; the point being made TWO years ago was that was no tie-breaker criteria established for the conference. ALSO, PM turned around and beat United in the playoffs, so...they were the only team in the conference that beat every other conference team that year (United having lost to Laurel Valley), so, yes it was discussed that maybe PM should have been given consideration as a co-champ. As to last year "option for the easy way out" (I assume you meant OPTING for the easy way out) "like penns manor is known for", the whole point of this whole thread is that we thought we had a full 9 game schedule until shortly before the season began. One last thing, I've known Bill Packer for almost 40 years, and he is about as far from "jackwagon" as you can get.

blueblood, once again, in typical penns manor fashion you try to justify what bill packer said as being legitimate. maybe you are the one that isn't worth my effort. here goes.

1. He made the comments at the end of the regular season.

2. He repeated the comments after the 1st playoff game, after i'm sure that united was declared the heritage conference champ, thus the reason he said in the radio he still felt like they were co-champs.

3. I also had heard they had found a AAA team in New York or New Jersey with a bye. If that is true, that would be in addition to the AAAA school you mentioned.

4. I'm 99.9% positive that issue of having the same record and having a tiebreaker as the head to head win occured at least 1 or twice prior to 2009 season. like i said, i'm sure it is in the indiana gazette archives that the head to head declared a champ prior to 2009 at least 1 or twice.

5. Who discussed allowing penns manor to be co-champs besides bill packer and maybe some of the penns manor coaches?

6. He made the comments prior to even winning 1 playoff game much less with no guarantee that there would be as you would like to call it "unofficial championship game" to crown them champs or co-champs.

7. Read through some of the bleacher coaches archives and you'll see I wasn't the only who was upset that penns manor took the easy way out. It is a fact that everyone else in the heritage conference traveled if they had to find a game during their bye week. I also believe very few of the heritage teams earned a win with their replacement game.

8. I'm sure you've known uncle billy for 40 years. the rumor is that about everyone on that staff is packer or a relative of a packer. I expect you to stick up for uncle billy.

9. Its never a good idea for a coach or player to be on a site like this bragging up their team or trying to justify things. Only someone from penns manor would do that.

10. Lastly doesn't facebook even have a page entitled "everybody hates penns manor"? there has to be some reason why. haha

1. Last time I checked United won the heritage in 2009? Its theirs according to the rules, and they should be happy with it as Im sure they are. As for the co champs thing, hey youre entitled to an opinion if you dont like someones comments. If their coach felt strongly about their team then they could probably make that comment. They are just as entilted to their opinion as you are. In the end united lions still have the trophy right? So if I missed something feel free to correct me? Pretty tacky if youre holding a grudge over that if you ask me.

2. Playing A football and graduating around 60 some kids a year like most heritage teams (excluding united and LV since were reffering back to 2009) going up against a AAA or AAAA school probably isnt the best option in single A football late it the season. I could see facing an A or AA team but I think they had the bye it week 7 or 8? Sure its a great test and it would look great if you won but its very possible to get someone injured and loose a key player for the playoffs in the following weeks.

3. But the topic at hand here is LV to the LHAC so Ill go back to it. LV can win the heritage over and over and will never compete with a LHAC team in AA in a playoff level.

Hahaha sandusky's little buddy hornets got on Facebook and joined a group. I can understand, hornets is a heritage fan and his team was once on top but now he's on the bottom (like a typical Sandusky victim). I don't know why you don't get up to speed boss, we're all at 2011 here. PM played a full schedule this year and no they did not win the heritage conference, but they did win d6 A. I guess beating BA was the easy way out and I'm sure every Bellwood fan appreciates you saying that. I just think its hilarious how big of a ball baby you are on here. This is a ligonear discussion topic, you always seem to find a way to change the discussion about your hatred for PM. Jealousy to it's finest.

Co Champ come on the only time that was talked about was on your side lines. The first tie breaker is head to head. Yes you did spank us in the play offs but that is the way the football bounces. Great win good luck in states!

From what I'm understanding. That sounds about right. Blue Blood was just saying Pm's coach was entitled to feel that way and probably stick up for his players (heck he should feel that way, that was the first time his team was near the top of the conference), but yes I agree blueandwhitelion I think that talk would have only come from that team's sidelines. Good luck hunting today blueandwhitelion!

United is the name on the trophy as it should be (congratulations to them). I was only pointing out why there was any comment made by the PM head coach to an absolute PM hater (yes, I know when the original comment was made, and editorialized a bit by including reference to the playoff win, but all this is 2 YEAR OLD non-news that hornets can't seem to get over).

Don't hate on Bill Packer. The man has turned a program around into a top team every year. He just one D-6 which adds to One Heritage Championship, 5 straight playoff years, Three straight Semi-final years, and a Ken Latzy game win to stop a north's losing streak.
