Read this in the Tribune today.

Bishop Carroll Catholic High School in Ebensburg has an immediate opening for the position of Head Varsity Football Coach. Interested candidates should send letter of interest, resume, coaching philosophy, references and all required clearances to Lorie Ratchford, Principal, BCCHS, 728 Ben Franklin Highway, Ebensburg, PA 15931 no later than February 20, 2012

What does WHERE YOU LIVE have to do with being a coach? But if you coach for a PAROCHIAL team, do you have to be Catholic? An even simpler question.

But wouldn't Forest Hills want "Forest Hills Guys" coaching? I mean Don Bailey did invent football after all, not to mention everyone who is from the various municipalities that make up Forest Hills School District are just breed for success and to be better than the rest from birth.

Don't skirt the issue. Do parochial schools only hire Catholics for coaching positions? If you don't know, say so. Don't bring public schools into the mix. I'm not talking about a person who you may WANT as a coach, but who you HAVE TO HAVE as a coach.
