Ridge vs. bedford
Re: Ridge vs. bedford
Two interesting points from this article ...
- The Lions made some history with the win. It was the program's first win over Bedford since 2006, and the first time a Lazor-coached Ridge team beat the Bisons.
- JV: Tie, 12-12

BCOR- @ 195 they where probably being kind to their own wrestler by not wrestling him. @ KOM niether him or the 170 pounder wrestled. 1 has only this year of experience and is a exchange student.

This will be a great rematch come district duals. I definitely want to see the crouse vs. thomas rematch again. I wasnt at the match so can someone give man an unbiased opinion on the stalling calls? Were they legit?

Well i guess nobody can give an unbiased opinion on the stalling calls.
I'd like to know from someone who was there.

Re: Ridge vs. bedford
Kinda thought creps comments in the article were a little insulting. He said bedford wrestles the match for fun and its not their superbowl. Interesting, downplaying one of the biggest nights of the year in bedford county wrestling. My opinion is that loss hurt bad, and the match was much bigger than he lets on. Now they will probably get a chance for revenge. If I am a ridge coach I cut that article out and use it for billboard material!

Re: Ridge vs. bedford
Interesting. I read the Bedford paper a little different.
Creps also commented on the Brett/Bollman match by saying he wouldn't take anything away from Bollman by saying that Bollman caught Brett. That Bollman went out and did what he needed to do and derserves credit for getting it done. While Lazor basically said that the Crouse stall call was terrible and didn't credit Thomas for the win the way Creps did Bollman. But seems as usual Creps can do nothing right.
Why would saying it wasn't Bedford's superbowl be insulting to CR? Was it a big match? YES!! But it was the 2nd dual of the year for both teams. Both teams I would assume plan to wrestle in DD's and both hope to get to states and most likely earn a medal @ states. If that is the goal then this match is def. not the superbowl for Bedford, and I would hope it was not for CR either. Both teams will be wrestling bigger matches then this later in the year. I've never seen a superbowl played in the first few weeks of a season before.
It was a big regular season match that will be for bragging rights until their next meeting assuming they meet again at DD's. Although I would say Berlin might have something to say about that.

Re: Ridge vs. bedford
I didn't read the bedford gazette lefty. Just commenting on the mirror article above. I personally think he tried to seriously downplay the win, saying that bedford wrestles it for fun? Come on, you know and I know when ridge and bedford match up its for keeps not fun. Kinda misleading on that comment to say the least!Lefteyelouie wrote:Interesting.
