Inquiring minds want to know. I'm just providing a service for those who can't find these stories by themselves. Unless I'm making up these articles, what's the difference if I print them or not? And where have you been regarding Dickerson. I've HUNTED for the reason about him being able to play immediately and can't find it anywhere. I've even asked PSU's faithful following And THEY don't know (not that they care). 'Tis a mystery though, how he got to play immediately while others didn't. Did someone owe PSU a favor?

Penn State won their 3rd game in a row yesterday and surprisingly are starting to put things together. The scoring seems the be balanced as it has been all year. Adding Dickerson down low gave them 5 more fouls in the paint. As weird as it is, Penn State is now only 1 game in the loss column out of a 1st round bye in the B1G tournament. It looks to me like they are NIT bound.

Mold, you are the only inquiring mind that wants to know! I don't think anyone really cares why he was eligible this season, except you. Call the NCAA and ask them if you so really want to know. Keep digging, you are getting quite desperate, and it is comical.
PSU has look good their past few games, too bad they didn't play that way earlier in the Big 10 schedule, there were a lot of games they could have and should have won. One thing I have noticed is they are sharing the ball and getting it to the hot hand.

Yes, PSU did look good in their last 3 games. They beat Nebraska at home , giving the Cornhuskers a record of 9-9, 1-5 in the conference. They then handed Ohio State their 5th conference loss. And yesterday extended Purdue's current losing streak to 4 games. As far as the NIT goes, PSU is now 12-10, with 9 games to go. They will have to win 4 of them to guarantee a non-losing record. If they only win 3 of the 9, they will have to win at least 2 games in the Big Ten Tournament to have a non-losong record. In that case, a bye in the tournament would be a bad thing. Playing a weak team in the play-in bracket would help get another win for them and boost their NIT chances.

Keep digging Mold, no one said they were on fire or dominating, they have looked good. While not against superior talent, they have been playing good. Keep in mind that those are games that earlier in the year and conference schedule they would have blown and lost. Keep spewing the BS, always good for a laugh.

What BS? My last post was completely factual. What did you disagree with?

If I have to break it down for you, you are a complete moron. But here it goes. Read my previous post, the whole post, not just the part about you spewing BS. If you read that, if you can read, I point out that while not top notch wins, they are still wins and they have been playing good. Sure the records of those 3 opponents are not that great, they have won 3 in a row, that earlier in the year they would have lost. You try to point out the records and loses by the opponents to say they are not quality wins or that it isn't a big deal they won. Which is BS because no one bragged that they were win against top notch teams. There, if you don't understand that, please go back to school so I don't have to break it down like you are a small child.

You know, you gotta feel somewhat sorry for Pat Chambers. No wonder Penn State basketball can't seem to get off the ground. Riding a 3 game conference win streak, and playing a big game tonight at Michigan State, NOTHING has been said about basketball on BWI since the Purdue game. Unbelievable. The mindset of the Nit fans is strictly football. Once in a while they talk about wrestling or girls volleyball, but basketball in Happy Valley gets NO respect. How can the average Nit fan get up for these games when basketball is always put on the back burner. What recruits want to go to a school where their sport plays second fiddle to another sport all year long?

Moldo, you just generalized every PSU fan by what you saw (or didn't see) on BWI? Really? All that from a website/magazine?
I've lived in Centre county for 20 years and I can tell you first hand that folks around here are not just football fans. If you cared to look, you'd see that the men's basketball team regularly draws over 10,000. Wrestling sells out Rec Hall as does women's volleyball. Men's and women's soccer also draw well with respect to their peer group.
PSU has always done well in terms of the Capital One Cup, so I'm not sure how you come to the conclusion that PSU fans only care about football.
We are talking about the game in East Lansing tonight, but admittedly many of us are really excited for THON this weekend, which in my opinion truly speaks to the quality of the PSU student body and PSU benefactors that support them.

Heck, I even forgot that men's hockey sells out every game at Pegula. Football-only indeed.
