Bedford beat Penn Cambria 19-6. PC looked like they were in it in the 3rd quarter when it was 13-6 and they were driving the ball inside Bedfords 25 yard line but a fumble from PC really gave the momentum to Bedford and they never looked back.

Spike98 First of all you have no idea who I am. Second, Liggy does not have my support. A school board that destroyed an entire community has left a sour taste in my mouth. How many Laurel Valley players are on this team? I don't profess to be a football coach! However, I was spoiled to watch 25 - 35 players playing Ram Pride football under Coach Page! Ligonier has many more students than any of their Heritage foes and should routinely be at the top of this conference! They should not routinely be ridiculed for being in this conference, but no one involved with the program seems to care. Now you are telling me that Liggy will be fine. What is your prediction for their season record? I am not denigrating any of the players. I have nothing but admiration for their hard work and dedication. It is the school district and the program that I have a problem with.

With only 7 Seniors and 5 Juniors on the roster and knowing quite well how HC, Blairsville and PL's rosters are senior heavy I Agree Liggy will struggle at times this year. I would predict a 4-4 Conference record and a 4-6 Overall record this year. It just gets old seeing your posts week in and week out on here about Liggy. You don't have to support them if that's your decision, but you definitely don't need to be on here always posting negative threads about them either .

Parents have had a way harder time dealing with the merger that happened 5 YEARS AGO than any of the kids. The kids that decided to go united or were cyber schooled were influenced by their parents. The kids from Laurel Valley that went to Ligonier after the merger have NO sour taste left. In your mind it may have destroyed a community but in the minds of the Ligonier/Laurel valley youth it has just brought two communities closer together and created friendships that will last a life time.
