I did mean both the kicker and the punter. I'm hoping that Nordin sticks with his commitment, especially after announcing his verbal with that over the top video he had done. Not to mention the fact that he has to look at the PSU kicking situation and realize he steps right in and starts on day one. I'm not sure what the UM kicking situation is like, but it can't be any worse than PSU's (despite the botched snap on the punt at the end of the MSU game this past weekend).

Definitely can't wait for Gilikin. I see more consistent punting every Friday night than they currently have at PSU.

Got to apologize to you guys about Franklin going for it on fourth down instead of kicking that field goal when the ball was on the OSU 31. I didn't have the quarter or score correct when I asked about it. The play I was referring to came in the 1st half with about 6 minutes remaining and OSU up 14-3. Irregardless of what I said before, the scenario was the same. The decision was even WORSE than I thought, knowing that it was made so early in the game. Again, if PSU makes the field goal they possibly go into halftime down by 8, with the score 14-6. THEN, coming out (like they did) like a house afire on their first drive in the 3rd quarter, you're looking at 14-14 or 14-13. Who knows WHAT could have happened after that. Instead, Hackenberg gets hurt on the 4th and 8 sack and OSU goes into the half 21-3. Sorry about the confusion, but my point about going for it instead of trying the field goal is still relevant. Sorry for the confusion.
