The key for Farrell will be how Malachi Newell (mal i kye) plays on defense. He's one of the best LBs in the state. He'll need to be disruptive in blitzes while playing smart with the many ways BG releases receivers. It's definitely the big play ability of BG that will be key for them. Old Forge had a very good line but BG wore them down and broke them with the big play. Farrell will also need to be flawless with their tackling. Chadbourn spins, hops and just flat out breaks tackles. For a little guy he's one of the toughest to bring down I've seen all year. Myers for Farrell is key. He won't be able to just toss the ball up. BGs backfield is too good for that and Tybus is one of the tops in the state with 7 picks. BG has 23 total. The Steelers will need to be very balanced and must find a running game and score along with not allowing the big play to have any chance against a team that has only allowed 70 while scoring 688...
We broke down both teams on the site:

Charter schools: the next great way to rob the current generation of money, while robbing the future generation of a chance.
Let's not forget that the diocese threatened a lawsuit against the PIAA if they forced the bishops and other privates into a private classification. I think the reason why is obvious. How much money would they lose when enrollment drops due to having to go up against only other open enrollment schools?

Remember when everyone wanted a better education. This is an old post from 2007.
Recruiting Guru:
Moldo might have a couple of restless nights after he sees the couple of McCort Seniors who will more than likely be on the news and in the papers for signing with their various colleges to play football. For the record Wadley has signed with Toledo starting this fall and will begin school July 1st. (P.S. Extremely hard to get a full division 1 scholarship without playing your final season of Football)
LHAC's Current Division 1A Players:

Now defunct Saint Patrick's elementary school in Moxham has probably put out more Division One athletes than the 9 members of the Heritage Conference combined.
Sad what's become of the parochial school system. Just announced that there will only be two schools K-6, and 1 middle school 7th and 8th.
At the time I finished 8th grade there were 7 schools K-8, and probably in the 80's there were 15 K-8 schools. Just a sign of the time in this area. Schools keep getting smaller.

That's because they have an excellent recess time

I bet there were some legendary pickup games at St. Pats at times, but they didn't have anything on OMOS.

My how times have changed. The population of Johnstown is now a third of what it used to be, and posters have to reach back 8 years or so with a quote from a poster they don't like, to rationalize their argument. What was the original post in this thread about?
