This sounds like it may have been the worst game to ever attend.

Was anybody at the Cambria Heights/Penn Cambria game? Just curious as to how it played out. I'm guessing Heights won the battle up front, I just thought Hite/Zupon would be the difference makers.

The difference was the coaching staff went with Zupon at QB for essentially most of the first half. PC'S first possession was 3 and out with Hite's only touch was a third down -4 yard catch. They got down 17-7 then put that Martynuska kid in and they started to move the ball to little too late. Don't understand the thought process of the coaching staff. When Martynuska's in the game at QB they move the ball. Zupon is move valuable at RB and slot receiver. Martynuska's started games 3-6 and is 3-1 as a Starter and with probably the biggest game to this point CH they try to change things. Don't understand it. If it's not broke don't fix it!!....Hite played well(142 yds 2 tds) Zupon was great at his position RB ( 1td). PC got burnt on a trick play QB Baum ran a reverse and threw back to the wide open receiver. That's my take on the loss.

And it was raining
And it was homecoming
Seriously, they got beat by. CH team that is playing well and is better than their record shows, CH is built to play in the conditions Friday night and have done very well using some trick plays to move the ball.
Disappointed that you guys could just say they were the better team

Penn Cambria has beaten Richland, CC and BC the bottom of the conference and gotten handled by Johnstown and BG, just like the other teams in the middle of the pack, them losing to CH is not an upset
They did have a nice win over Westmont

It's hard to say that they were the better team I'll say they were the more focused team they made one big play and won by 4 points. They don't make it PC probably wins. All points listed played a factor. 2 contributing starters out, kids playing out of position, raining both teams, homecoming, wrong decision at QB for PC plus PC had a half day of school. Yes, that is a factor kids getting out of a routine going home sleeping, running around before coming back to the school for the game. PC came up to the field lithargic no fire. CH was clapping , yelling getting fired up really heard nothing from PC. Move on and play better against FH . Make better personnel decisions and play mistake free football which PC has done pretty much this year.

I've been a PC fan for a LONG time and have been very positive and supportive of the team. Last season I knew that they were going to take their lumps because of their youth and inexperience. This year at the beginning of the season I expected them to be around 5-5 and contention for a playoff spot. After the first five games I was extremely impressed and proud of everything I saw with them playing. 4-1 with all four victories being by at least 28 points and a tough loss first game at a VERY good Johnstown team. The Westmont game absolutely shocked me. I was honestly stunned, I thought PC had a decent chance to win because I thought the athletes they had were slightly better than Westmonts, but watching PC's defense pitch a shutout on the road at Westmont against a very big and physical offensive line amazed me, the defense and particularly the defensive line played terrific that game. I thought they would be a little more competitive against BG, they held BG's run game in check except for one big run in the 4th quarter, but some big plays really hurt them. This brings us to the Cambria Heights games. Going into the game I knew Heights had won two section games in a row and was playing good football. Cambria Heights outplayed them in the first half and that was the difference. By no means is what I'm about to say an excuse for PC's loss on Friday but they were without starting G/LB Jr. Dominic Stiffler and 3 year starter 6'3 245 TE/DE Sr. Zach Krug. No doubt that in a muddy rainy game where both teams ran the ball the entire game that the loss of these two players did not hurt them. I'm upset because I believe that PC is the better team but hats off to Heights for the win. My one disagreement with the strategy of the staff is how they handle personal. I agree with the above person about the fact that the Quarterback shuffling needs to stop. Martynuska should be at QB and Zupon should be at FB where he is more valuable. Zupon is an absolute beast and one of the best blocking FB's from PC I've seen in awhile, with the oline blocking well and Zupon leading through the hole, Nick Hite is unstoppable. The kid is an absolute beast and one of the best athletes PC has ever had, They need to stick to the ground and pound game the rest of the season if they want to win more games. I believe they will beast Forest Hills and Somerset and lose to McCort which gives them a 6-4 record and gets them into the playoffs most likely. After finishing 1-9 a season ago, there is nothing wrong with being 6-4 and in the playoffs, I'll take it. Just my take on this PC talk, I'm a huge fan and just thought I would put my two cents in.
