Doug, Laurel Valley defeated Bellwood for the 6A title in 1993.

Glad both of my boys got to play for him and his staff! Very successful program. It's family for those boys and coaches.

In 92 Laurel Valley lost to CV in the D6 championship game. LV beat Bellwood in 93. LV won in 89, 90, and 93. There were other opportunities but key injuries in 91 costs them that year. The legend of Coach Page lives on in Homer Center, Ligonier Valley, and everywhere else his players are coaching. Youth, high school, or college football. LV will win another D6 crown this year!

Very true bigtube, loved playing for Coach Page at Laurel Valley. That's where my love for this great game all started in the hallways of LV. He sparked the fire and I often bring up coaching moments about him on the football field. What a great coach and a great man!
