Anyway, it’s not my gym. It’s McCort’s gym. But I don’t think those seats were put in so much to make it a giant advantage, just needed the extra seating. The school is boxed in so there’s no way to expand it. That was the easiest way to get some extra seating in the place.

I know it's 'not your gym', anymore than the one in Sidman is 'my' gym, but we do have our own ties to the respective schools, and that makes it 'yours'. BTW, I was in a discussion about the Dragons' gym and you ambushed the train of thought.

It's hard to knock a school for having a tiny gym when Forest Hills probably had the smallest gym in the conference for years.
But then again, I don't find small gyms to be a bad thing. I've never been to Ferndale, but I've heard stories. But I think McCort's gym is awesome. Great homecourt advantage and best atmosphere in the LHAC. The student section fits in perfectly, the box that sits above the gym is also really nice too since it was renovated.
Is it the gym that gives McCort a home court advantage, or the fact that they 'hire' McCort parents to ref the games?
I always thought people that were tied to McCort that ended up refereeing games at McCort bent so far backwards to show they weren't biased that McCort would end up getting the majority of the bad calls anyway. And you know every game played outside of Osborne Street, McCort isn't getting any calls.
I already know which refs will be doing the game when McCort plays at Johnstown and when McCort plays at Somerset. I don't think that changes the outcome either, it's just...you know which refs get which games at which gyms. It's just how it is.

I ambushed it because you seemed to be talking down to Central High School's facilities, and I was merely pointing out Forest Hills roughly had the exact same gym two years ago.

And you've been to Martinsburg? All I was saying if you have a renovation project going on anyway, why not take it a little further and do an honest upgrade. Band-aid approaches seldom work in the long run.

We know each others' viewpoints, so can we get back to games & scores? Yinz all can have your jollies when the Trojans embarrass the Rangers tonight.

Hah, I'd rather see Forest Hills win.

Just the facts, Ma'am. We haven't imported 6'7" players from Philly.
