Now that I think about it, I believe the three regular season games that BC lost in 2000 were Westmont, Bedford, and Penn Cambria. They may have lost more, but those are the three I remember. They also played some out of state teams too as I recall. That might have been the year that they lost to Windber in the playoffs as well.
I used to have a site bookmarked where you could go and look up any teams record in football and basketball back into the '90s. I think it was called epa sports or something like that. Anybody have the link?

BC may have been knocked around in 2000, but do not forget they kicked the crap out of McCort's 98' and 99' teams in the A playoffs. Both those years McCort has a 7-2 regular season record. Also, in 99' McCort was pretty good and beat a real good Forest Hills team. Also, 98' was the beginning of BC's D6 championship years.

McCloskey and Kanuch also run behind a very average Westmont line.

Forest Hills's Adam Trout is currently playing outstanding.
Although he may not be the fastest Wide Out in FH history, he is a great route runner, and he finds a way to make the catch when it is thrown to him, like all good wideouts do.
I think he is playing as good right now as any wideout in Forest Hills history. And Forest Hills has had some elite wide recievers, but after this year you will have to chalk up Adam to that list.

you all have great picks for the LH but left out a Big MLB in Zack Terchanik... all the other picks I saw were great but he is a great Line backer and should definately be picked for the finest 40 along with sheridan and Spangler...
Since no one decided to give the westpac picks here we go... The most impressive Ive seen this season was Vince Turner who I saw go over 1,000 (1,001) yards and 100 (116) tackles on Friday Night, I give my other 2 picks from the Jays Either Blough (good blocking fB), Marshall (9 Interceptions) or Held(Nice sized end with great hands)
Blacklick- Goodrich(QB and LB 115 tackles)
Portage-Martella, portages QB, and take your pick on which lineman you want
Windber- Matt Wilson... I dont know who else is seniors on their squad
Ferndale- Adam hale
Township- Nathan Bates
Shade - Ben Leanord
Berlin - Don Zeigler

While Kanuch is obviously the most dangerous back in the open field, McKolosky is one tough kid, he's slippery but doesn't mind taking a hit. I've been pretty impressed with the way this 5'7" 160 pounder ran with the ball against much bigger kids.
Username, I agree 100% with you, McKolosky is their best runningback if you look past speed alone.
OpinionGuy, it makes me wonder what those two would have done behind something like Bishop Carroll's line.

Or Bedfords, or Forest Hills, or CC for that matter...

Keeping with the subject ,their are alot of players out there but because they aren't on high profile teams get over looked ,take Holsberger from Penn Cambria a junior ranked number 7 inthe state with tackles ,number2 in laurel highlands with 104 tackles averaging 5yds a carry on offense, many more other players you are just a good as the ones mentioned in the many replys to the origional question.

They are ALL good players, but...
I would take a group of decent players over 1or2 good players anyday of the week... especially Fridays and Saturdays. The teams that don't have too many people in the Statistics Leaders Section and a winning record is usually a team to watch. (id est Forest Hills, Bedford, etc.) These two teams in particular has had standout players from the begining to now, but the rest are matching and picking things up right when they need to.
Good Luck all in the playoffs...
