30 protestors or not, the incident made the local TV stations and all the local papers. Good publicity for PSU.

She should have been fired already. 30 protestors or 30,000.

Black eye

Is that similar to Pitt having to thank WVU for saving the Big East conference from losing their automatic BCS bid? After that awful, horrible, massive defeat of Pitt by Utah, resulting in the entire national sports media calling for the Big East to be stripped of their BCS bid, are Pitt fans actually thanking Rich Rodriguez and WVU for saving the Big East from humiliation?

It's one thing to give up 400 yards of rushing on the same two plays to one team, but to then have to thank that same team for saving the entire conference....

Talk about a black eye.

Do you understand what a black eye is?? The big difference between the demonstration At PSU and that example about Pitt is: There are thousands of people who could care less about sports. These people don't read the sports page in any paper, don't listen to the sports news on TV, don't attend or watch sporting events. These people don't know anything about Pitt, WVU and the BCS. However, when the demonstration at Penn State made the evening news and the newspaper, EVERYONE was exposed to it. EVERYONE. Now that's a black eye!!

You see, that's where you are wrong. I read the article in the Pittsburgh Post Gazette and in the Tribune Review. Also heard about it on Channel 6 news: Serving millions from atop the Alleghenies. Oh, the word got out alright. Even old ladies who know NOTHING about sports know that there's a problem at Penn State. Again, that's a black eye on the university.

Based upon the average attendence figures at a Pitt home game, that sounds like a description of the Pitt student body.

Beautiful.

She'll be fired, I'd bet, and rightfully so.
