OK, Coach, then why should EITHER team ask for a 2-for-1??? Play a 1-for-1...and don't tell me about all those games way-back-when PSU came to Pitt every year...PSU WANTED to come to the big city to play and showcase their team to potential recruits.

This game was a great rivalry, especially through the 70s and 80s when both teams sent many players to the NFL and had heated recruiting battles, a rivalry that you're too young to remember...AND most inportantly, a rivalry that one selfish, sanctimonious, egotistical man ruined...Let him go to his grave knowing he lost his last game to Pitt and was shut out.

You don't even get 40,000 people at your home games. I know it takes something of colossal size to get through that very thick head of yours, but try to understand how wins and losses mean nothing here. Get a program. Try winning games when you should win them. What's Wanny's record so far against teams that Pitt should have beaten? How about toss-ups? How about games where Pitt was the underdog? Your program, your coaching staff, your fanbase, and your team, are all garbage.

TAE, go ahead and post some more...Your stupidity is staggering!

Your comments about Pitt are nonsensical and have no basis in truth...For that matter, nothing you post on here is taken seriously by me. Your posts are a joke, which is why I simply ignore them in almost all cases.

Pitt's attendance has NOTHING TO DO WITH scheduling a 1-for-1 with PSU. So what if Pitt gets 40,000 for home games? They'd fill Heinz Field for PSU, and yes, probably 20-25,000 of the 65,000 fans there would be PSU fans. Financially, I understand why PSU would rather schedule Youngstown State at home...for the same reason that Pitt scheduled YSU at home...BUT IF THEY REALLY WANTED TO PLAY PITT, alll PSU would have to do is secure a cupcake like Brown, or William and Mary, or Youngstown State in the odd years where they'd play in Pittsburgh. The other years, the games would be played at PSU and they'd still be benefitting. Now who has a thick head?

You and the PSUers talk about attendance all the time and what a "great, solid" program you have...If so, then it wouldn't kill PSU financially to schedule Pitt 1-for-1. Give me a break. That's a COP OUT.

The bottom line is Joe Paterno has NEVER FORGIVEN Pitt for kyboshing his "master plan" or "grand experiment" (or whatever that sanctimonious, delerious, senile, official assaulting individual called it) for an eastern sports conference back in the 70s and early 80s, over which PSU would've gotten the lion's share of athletic revenues and schools like Pitt, WVU, and Cuse would've gotten next to nothing. With the $$$ that PSU would've gotten from JoePa's conference idea, they could've played EVERYONE home and home...While the $$$ that all the other schools would've gotten would've been laughable.

Now...As you were, soldier...oh yeah, and continue fill this message board with more of your crap.
