BM should beat them, they are made up from kids all over the area... FH is made up of a bunch of farm boys that bail hay for fun..... BM kids wouldn't live a day in there shoes.... Spoiled little kids driving around in mommy and daddys bmw's, Mercedes, or whatever other cars they drive!!! Most of the BM kids are still being breast fed.....

When I was a kid, that's all we did was bail hay for fun, and then we prayed to pictures of Don Bailey.

Where do these stereotypes even come from? There's like 3 farms up by the FH Junior High and all of a sudden everyone is a farmer.

AE it's the same old nonsense, if you're from our area you're either an old coal miner's or farmer's son.
If you're either or whatever you should be dam proud of it! That's the mentality of some of these
people on this site.

Isn't it amazing how much you remember when you grow up in a community? How many posters chimed in on this topic when it started? When you are exposed to people in a certain district while growing up, they are part of our heritage. They stick in your mind as the years go by. You remember kids you watched playing as you grew up. Your parents tell you stories of players in the district where you live. Not only did many posters tell us their favorite players from the past, but remember stories ABOUT players they never saw play. This is the special part of living in a certain geographical area where you went to school. It establishes your loyalties, and defines your rivalries. This is what is missing from schools that make up the private sector. They have no sense of history. Sure they may have heard of some of their past players, but it's not the same. They didn't know where players lived, where they hung out, what they did in school. They don't see the same fans year in and year out at their games like those you see at FH, Portage, Windber. Where is their tradition? I'll bet in private schools, you don't see alot of parents come to games AFTER their kids' playing days are over. You just don't see it. And sure, not every local high school stadium is packed on Friday nights, but there is something different about playing and living in a community. It's part of you.

Geez, I'm like moved......I have been deprived all this time......there has been this empty feelin in my life that I just couldn't identify but know I realize for yrs I have been disadvantaged not knowing what posters feel.....telling us their favorite players from the past and remembering stories ABOUT players they never saw play. This is the special part of living in a certain geographical area where you went to school. It establishes your loyalties, and defines your rivalries......I am entitled to something here I think; wait I may be moved to tears or song........or both:

Ive got a real real real real bad feelin
That my pals don't love me no more
Ive got a real real bad feelin that my pals don't love me no more
You know the sky, the skys been cryin
Can you see the tears roll down my nose

Apologies to S R Vaughn & Elmore James

As was posted before, little fat men would have no consideration in any discussions.

Well, vman, you HAVE been deprived. You have no idea what's it's like to be part of a community, as a fan or a player, when it comes to sports. It's great to see a community psyched about an upcoming playoff game, how the signs go up along the roadsides supporting the players and coaches. How hundreds of students, parents and fans pack a stadium for the playoffs, whether it's home or far away. It's the talk of the town. Private schools just don't understand the whole community thing. As far as sports is concerned, private schools are in it for themselves. Public schools represent everyone in their district. Quite a difference.
