I agree with you Crimson this year out of probably the past 10 years is the most that McCort is made up of catholic school students but you could start an arguement that would never end. What I am getting at is. Does McCort win D6 in 06 without Lewis on their team. HELL NO

Crimson, are you saying that Windber cant compete? its not like they are Turkeyfoot Valley is it? Rugg would have got a scholarship at Windber, he chose McCort for the academics, didnt you know that?

Windber lost to Portage by 50.
McCort if they do happen to lose ill bet my house its not by 50 points.
Id say thats competing.

And Rugg did go to McCort. for academics. but recently more d1 schools have been to the 8th ward then windber i know thats for sure too.

I believe McCort could have D6 without Scott Lewis....didnt hurt one bit having him though

Crimson, BM beat FH on hail mary at the end of the game in 06 with Lewis. If BM doesn't have Lewis, guess who does?

the progression of the mccort '06 team was something you needed to see week in and week out....going to all 13 or so games the team that played Bedford in week 1 was not the same team that beat Tyrone in the championship game. Yes Scott was the best player no doubt about that but McCort had tons of talent on that team. They could have very well lost to Forest Hills without Scott but still I think through the course of that season McCort was the best team in district 6. The talent level on that team is 10 times of what any team in district 6 AA this year has. That defensive line.....Cruz Paros Jones and Kawchak....thats about the size of a Dline in the MAC they were pretty good.
