Hes actually 12/31 209 yards 4 tds, 3 ints...but his 1500 rushing yards and 15 rushing tds makes him a running back.

Are McFadden, Ronnie Brown, or Tomlinson considered QB's or RB's eventhough they have passed for TDs? How about Ward and Randle El?

Heck, I guess I shouldnt compare Newton to those studs ^ but point is that he isnt a QB, he's a RB. But if you made a football team and wanted to put him at QB because you feel that is where he is most effective, go ahead.

why does it matter if he doesnt throw? some college teams will go whole games w/o throwing...

haha this is the dumbest thing to fight about.. Is Newton a QB or a RB? Lets just say he plays football and hes doing a good job this year at what he does.

Yes Randle El was all 4 years and Ward played QB,WR,and RB in college

mehall for heisman but newton is a close second

Down to the final two in my opinion in Mehall and Newton. I will make my decision after they are done will all of their games. Then I will vote for the TRUE Heisman.
