Well next week has a good amount of huge games. BG vs BM, PM vs HC, Blv vs Port, BV vs NS, LV vs NC, and BA vs Glen. McCort is praying that Blairsville does not make that run to pull of 7-3. With two wins i think that would easily vault them above BM for that last spot. Then again having that AA team last week may give them the boost needed to jump HC in the final week if HC goes 1-1. Either way its amazing how the race changes week to week. I am sure BG, Port, JV, BA and PM are not excited to potentially be seeing BM in the first week.

Konjo I think Homer Center and Blairsvilles playoff chances are dim. Portage will handle them both. Glendale will also be eliminated next week after they play BA. Four losses about eliminates you other than possibly McCort.

Blacklick Valley should finish 7-3 and take one of the last 2 spots. Everyone else will be fighting to get in at 6-4, but that gives a clear advantage to the highest ranked teams currently (Northern Cambria) and teams who play AA and AAA opponents (Bishop McCort).

When it all boils down, baring any upsets the last 3 in I think will be Northern Cambria, Bishop McCort, and Blacklick Valley.

If blairsville beats portage, which I can see, they could easily be 7-3

I follow a lot of heritage football and portage is playing good ball at this point, they have the capability to win the last two if they play well

Yeah...he's been somewhat tough on the WestPac this year for whatever reason but I appreciate his passion for the league that he follows most and the Heritage teams getting some credit. Many admit that maybe the WestPac isn't quite as strong as in years past but they are still more than holding their own against the Heritage teams. He made the most noise when LV whipped up on an undefeated (at the time) Windber team earlier in the season. I said it then and I'm saying it now, Windber might just end up the 4th best team in the WestPac. If that happens, the LV/Windber game won't be so impressive for the Heritage conference afterall.
