Or better yet, save it until 2016.

...Been some interesting comments on here lately. apbk wants Pitt to pull recruits away from Ohio state and Michigan. Guess the Nits recognize they will need ALL the help they can get in beating the Big Three (OSU, Michigan and MSU) in their section in the years to come. Also, kirk says Narduzzi spent his entire time at Pitt trying to secure local kids. Hell, he's a brand new head coach. You gotta start somewhere. Set up your base, first. And how can Franklin be in his head about dominating the state. He's only been recruiting for 4-5 months. Who knows him well enough to commit early. Give him a chance for cripes sake. PSU fans should be more worried about Harbaugh at Michigan. For now, they obviously aren't worrying about Nebraska, Iowa, Wisconsin, and Minnesota. Like last year, they don't play them for awhile.

Ohio State and Michigan State are both top 10 programs right now. Michigan is one of the most historically successful programs in college football. Of course Penn State will have recruiting battles with them. If there is a top prospect that may not fit Penn State's program (playing time, coaching style, geography, ect.) I would much rather see them in Pittsburgh than Columbus. Not every recruit will be the right fit for Penn State. If you want to read that as, "Penn State needs all the help they can get", then so be it.
I don't understand how or why you continue to harp about Penn State's in conference schedule. You do realize that the teams Penn State faces from the west rotates, right? Penn State has to play all those schools over a period of time. I find it funny that Penn State sits in probably the 2nd toughest conference division in college football (behind the SEC west) and you still find a way to ridicule their conference schedule.
Finally, it would be great if Narduzzi wanted to focus on western PA and he actually had the area on lockdown but it looks like in 2016 he will be getting the leftovers. So he is going to focus on a 80 miles radius of the campus, and still lose most of the top recruits to neighboring schools. Good luck with that.

It is really hard to believe, but I actually think Paul Chryst might be a better recruiter than Narduzzi. If I were a Pitt fan, I would be extremely disappointed with the results of recruiting so far, especially when you consider all the chatter from the coaches. Their bark is much greater than their bite.
Not 1 of the kids they have recruited, thus far, is ranked by Rivals at their position
Tony Butler - The Gem of the class but probably won't be a panther in February. Has some pretty good offers including Michigan
Thomas Macvittie - Could not start on his own high school team until this year. The kid he couldn't beat out went D2. Offers. Cincy, Miami OH
Brandon Ford - Offers Akron, Buffalo, Maryland, Old Dominion
Bricen Garner - Offers MAC teams, Old Dominion, and Cincy
Chawntess Moss - Offers MAC teams, Old Dominion, and Cincy
This is great recruiting if you are trying to win the MAC but it is pathetic for a power 5 conference. Pitt fans will have to hope Narduzzi, much like Chryst was proclaimed to be, can find diamonds in the rough and coach them up. So much for the top 25 recruiting class chatter.

Pine is actually a good pickup for Pitt. He will probably eventually sign with Notre Dame, but it should make Pitt fans feel pretty good for now.
