i wasnt at the game but im assuming the ref that never left the 18 yard line was the one that was on the same half as the ridge defense? now assuming thats correct, then he did his job the way he is supposed to...refs are supposed to stay even with the last defender so that they can better handle offsides. and from what ive been told your sweeper was hanging out around the 18 or maybe a lil further up...

Re: CR vs. Bedford
i feel bad for saxman, he let 4 goals go in, none of which he could have done much about and i know he's gonna blame every single one on himself, i do it too when i'm in!

Re: CR vs. Bedford
When a goal is scored, unless it's a really easy goal to save, the keeper is not to blame. Gunner, this ref that never left the 18 also did not use his whistle hardly at all during the game. The ref on the other side of the field was blowing his whistle for stuff that was happening in the opposite corner. Oh yeah, #33 wasn't the only one who spread his legs on that direct kick...oops.

In all seriousness, that game should have been closer than what the score showed. I won't deny that Bedford controlled the whole game..now i'm not trying to sound arrogant honest....but 4 of the 5 goals that they scored were after i got hurt.....we just need to work on a lot of stuff right now.

Re: CR vs. Bedford
The score 5-0 was indeed not showing what the game was like, it should have been more like 18-0. Bedford controlled the ball the whole time and Ridge barely even had a shot on goal. Next year boys.
