Wow... congrats Bisons from your #1 doubter. I don't know any of the details yet, but I hope your guys other than Troy stepped up to prove me wrong.

Bedford will be the #1 seed as long as they beat Somerset in Week 9. Undefeated in the LHAC in '04... not too shabby Bisons, congrats!

well the kickers were supposed to be the key to this game and who scored the game winning points? FORD on a 100 yard INT!! granted it wasnt a kick, but he is the kicker nonetheless and made a HUGE play on mccorts 4th and goal with 2:00 remaining in the game. it was a defensive standoff the whole time it seemed until the 4th quarter, mccort marched down the field and scores, bedford takes kickoff and scores on its first play from scrimmage, then mccort marches back down the field again only to be INT'd for a TD...3 touchdowns in a matter of minutes it seemed after several 3 and outs and turnovers on downs the first 3 quarters.

Mike Young had over 100 on the ground, and a touchdown, I'm almost sure. The yardage in question. He gave Bedford the first score of the evening. Bedford's defense played excellent this game, forcing 2 turnovers, and one being the 100 yard run back. That play would have never happened had it not been for Monroe Hickeys pressure on the play. He forced Sheradin to get rid of the ball early and with no zip, and Ford stepped infront and did the rest. The score by McCort to make it 29-22 shouldn't have been, he trapped the ball on the ground, but oh well. The insuing kickoff made for more dramatics than what should have been. BM went for the onside, and recovered, but Monroe came up big again with the sack that forced the clock to run way down. By the way, Kyler just got the Player of the week for the 2nd time this year. CC and BM. Good job guys. On Heck of a game.

Bedford played a great game. As lefteye said in an earlier post a big play on special teams or defense would win the game. I am tooting my own horn a little. lol Anyway, the kickers were really a none facter in the scoring other than the interception return. There were several missed fieldgoals and even an extra point. These were really two evenly matched teams both on the line and at the skill positions. Bedford just had more big plays from their playmakers. Plus Bedfords D really made Cruz a non-factor in the game. I think he only had 2 receptions. One more thing I know it may not show up in the stats but D. Harris played a heck of a game on Defense. 1 interception and countless openfield tackles and several touchdown saving ones in the 4th quarter.

lefteye, you say the kickers didnt play a big factor in the scoring? granted they didnt help their own team much, but when you miss a field goal, not only do you not gain any points on your opponent, you also give them the ball. i dont think mccort punted once all night, but only made about half, if that, of their 4th down conversions, which because of not kicking they gave bedford the ball. factor in the missed fg and the snap over the kickers head for mccort, you put both of those in there then you got a score of 27-25 with the opportunity for mccort to have won with a long field goal in the closing seconds. so just because the kickers didnt help their teams, doesnt mean they didnt hurt them.
