The only thing you use your head for is to keep it firmly implanted in your posterior.

Conservatives think, for the most part, that Liberals ARE stupid. Then we sit back, wait for them to open their mouths, and they prove it for us. Easy.

Sometimes the liberals get to sit back and enjoy the show the conservatives are putting on as well. Right now, it's a pretty interesting show. You have conservatives arguing over the latest Supreme Court nominee. You know the apocalypse can't be far behind when Harry Reid has good things to say about one of GW's nominees! If that isn't enough, there is the indictment of Delay, the investigation of Frist and testimony of Karl Rove all going on at the same time.

Oh yes, the republicans are really putting on quite a show these days. Who knows, maybe someday they'll get around to actually taking advantage of having a sitting president with majority control of the house and senate.

It's only "quite a show" because ALL the liberal media make it so. Delay's indictment is a joke and EVERYONE knows it. Ronnie Earl needs an exciting close to the book he's writing, and what bigger ending could he dream up but to nail a 'biggie'? Frist, pretty much the same thing, he's done nothing any different than most of the liberal Senators now slinging mud, and Harry Reid? All I know is, he must have gotten some from Harriet Miers, because there is absolutely NO DIRT TO BE FOUND on this woman, even though GW looked to be gutless in picking her over a better qualified Conservative. BTW- does anyone else notice all the threads in this political topic I seem to CLOSE? I should change my handle to "RUSH JR."

The Texas grand jury indicted Delay....not the media. The SEC is investigating Frist....not the media. The grand jury is questioning Rove, not the media. The conservatives are arguing amongst themselves about Miers, not with the media.

How do you know Delay is innocent? I don't know he's guility, only that he has been indicted. Is he innocent because he says so? Nixon said he was not a crook, Clinton said he did not have sex with Lewinsky..... politicians lie.

By the way, the last word doesn't necessarily make it right. I write my opinion and when I have said all I have to say about the matter, I stop. It doesn't mean I agree with what was said last.

OKAY. This I will give you. The points about Frist and Miers are far from over. As to Delay, the Texas Grand Jury, as you say, are the ones indicting him. Make NOTE of the fact that Ronnie Earle has a major ax to grind against Bush and Delay, and Texas anti-Earle's in general. This indictment was the SIXTH time Earle has tried to get to Delay on the exact same charges. It's like just keep slinging [spaghetti] against the wall and sooner or later something just MIGHT stick. Or keep picking jurors until you get enough in your pocket to agree with you and then get your indictment. This charge is flimsy at BEST. Talk about wasting taxpayers' money. Even if it is Texas money.
