i agree, it was a good game, but the better team won. it was a good thing for bellwood to challenge mccort because it hasn't happend since last year. they responed well and have a good chance of advancing in states.

I made an almost identical mistake while punting against Wilmington a few years ago. At the time, it felt right. Call it overconfidence. Call it irrational. But when your in a close game, you expect your leaders to step up and put the game on their backs. In cases such as these, the outcome isn't always ideal. But you've gotta love the heart. You've gotta love the balls. And you've gotta love the victory.

Psh, mistake? Harldy. Tiger Woods couldnt have drove the ball 100 yards in that wind, let alone a h.s. punter kicking it 35. It was the right call then and Domonkos' call was the right one too. He gets that first down and BM scores before half? GAME period.

BM's success the past few years is for players like Username6, Varga, Lowry, and Seidel who can and do put the team on their backs when the game is on the line. thanks

would beg to differ, many schools have had equally quality skill players(richland johnstown etc), but NO one practically has had the all around skill up front

The big boys up front take care of business all game, no doubt about that. But I've seen the guys mentioned, and definitely others mind you, that just seem to wield the ball down field. The way blocking schemes work, sometimes you just have to make one guy miss, and those mentioned were just able to do that on a consistent basis when the game was on the line. That is my point, sir.
