Re: Will District 5 score against Clairton?
well bb you would be surprised, when a team plays on saturday, like mccort, that leaves a friday night open, and i can say for myself when that happens to c.t, i find a game that i think would be great to watch on go watch it, a windber/berlin game may have brought several people from around that had saturday games, please dont be so blind as to think that because they are in different leagues, that a great westpac matchup wouldnt bring others in, ct/portage berlin/windber ns/ct berlin/ns all of these will bring people looking for a great game.bbsocceralumni wrote:Brigade, just honestly think for one second. How many McCort fans would come watch Berlin play? My point.

I see where you are coming from but anyone that is big into the LHAC, 98% of them wouldn't go watch a WestPac game. No matter who is playing who. You think the people that slam the WestPac would go watch a WestPac game? Nope....

keep in mind, some of those players come from the ns, windber, portage areas and many have families that live in those same areas, i have had people invite me to go see bc game because a relative played, same for fh. now this year i havent seen a mccort game but was supposed to go to the westmont mccort game, is it something everyone does, no.. does it happen more then you think.. yes. true football fans will go to a game just to see a great athlete or athletes match up.bbsocceralumni wrote:I see where you are coming from but anyone that is big into the LHAC, 98% of them wouldn't go watch a WestPac game. If Berlin is the D5 Champ I think they will score on Berlin. Sayler will punch one in somewhere along the way.

How many Berlin fans would go see McCort play? I mean how many people would skip their own games to go watch somebody else play? Thats the worst part of High School football, I'd love to go see some other people play. I caught the WPIAL vs. Florida/Ohio games out at Woodland Hills. Thats about it, if I'm going to a High School football game, Im probably going to McCort or a can't miss game.

I agree with you. I was just saying that regardless of how big a WestPac game is people aren't going to miss their hometown teams game. I really wish more games would be played Thursday and Saturday. Never would happen though. Like Saturday games, have 1 start at 1, 1 at 4, and 1 at 7. But once again, never would happen.Crimson09Crazy wrote:How many Berlin fans would go see McCort play? We should steal one from the WPIAL, and have 1 d5/d6 game on a Thursday Night. I mean I would definitely go see some other teams play, if given the opportunity.
