Couldn't you sense you weren't going to need it from the way the first quarter was going?????
....sportsfan1000: Humiliating losses caused by pariochial schools? What happened to the "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you"? Is that still in the Bible? Shouldn't parochial schools be aware of this? Tell me, is the phrase "What goes around, comes around" in the Bible too? Maybe McCort will learn this the hard way at some point this season.

....This kind of stuff (onside kicks with big leads, going for 2 with big leads, and running up the score) is why BC was left out of the mix when the Appalachian Conference disbanded years ago. The teams of the App Conference were fed up with this kind of play, and when the Westpac and Heritage conferences were formed, THERE WAS NO ROOM FOR BC. Then, after playing an independent schedule for a year, came crying to the LHAC for admission. Teams and coaches have a way of remembering things that go on on the football field. What goes around, comes around. If you are a gentleman on the field, it will pay dividends. If you want to make enemies.......

An unfortunate thing about the way McCort seems to play is that as a Christian school they are under the microscope for their sportsmanship and play, and acting this way is clearly setting a bad example. There is such a thing as being a poor winner, afterall.

As a protege of KS , meaning the lil ks, why should anyone expect anything else.

This is a non issue, and a witch hunt situation. I wouldn't be all that upset if they ran the score up on a few teams in this league. 2 in particular.

I really don't care what they did..onside kicks,2 pt conversions,ect....I wasn't at the game, I'm not on the field during games. I legitimately do not care in the least bit if McCort goes for 2 every time......Is it running up the score if you do not have a kicker? And you know what if Forest Hills or Johnstown did the same thing, again wouldn't care. My life does not revolve around the ethics of High School Football teams.

If McCort would do this, which they never would, people would be up in arms about how terrible and unethical of a thing this would be. And how it would be rubbing it in the face of whoever they beat. But its okay when Richland does it because their a public school!

It's Sunday, so I might as well preach a little. Romans 12:19 Do not be revengeful, my dear friends, but give way BEFORE anger; For it is written Revenge belongs to ME: I will pay back says the Lord. Maybe the BM coaches and players were absent that day when this was taught in Religion class. OR maybe it was omitted from the course discription entirely. So tell me you guys, which 2 or 3 teams do you want to run up the score against later in the season??????
