Great job to Coach Franco and the Mt. Lions. Not many people thought they would win a WPIAL playoff game this soon.

I am shocked by the lack of emphasis on the kicking game at FH, XP's are automatic at so many schools, could see this catching the Rangers in a close playoff game

What is a "lack of emphasis"? Should they practice more? Should they get a kid from the soccer team? Sometimes execution is the problem.

Not trying to really get into the "Private/parochial" debate because I guess it is fate more than anything....But I feel bad for Blairsville, it seems like BG is a buzzsaw waiting. as powerful as the BC squads of past. It seems when the bobcats build their best teams in the past ten years there is an uber powerful Bishop waiting.

Game of the night:

Conemaugh Township 42 North Star 8

Township advances to the playoffs at 4-6. North Star's season comes to a 3-7 end. One could argue that North Star got the better of that deal
