United looks dumb.
Silk should be allowed to play.
I don’t exactly feel bad for Ligonier. They’re gonna be 12-0 playing in the District Title either way.

Yes, knowitall. He definitely will be receiving a better education at LV than he would have at United

I heard LV brought in a ringer math teacher from Greater Latrobe and an ace history teacher from Mt. Pleasant to boost its curriculum this year!

I hate to see the kid not be able to play, but I'm not sure United is the dumb one here. A little bit of homework would have told them that he only had a 50-50 shot at being eligible.

Why is United dumb? Kudos for someone putting there foot down on the transferring.

What do they gain by not letting him play?

Youngbuck, when the shoe was on the other foot, the United administration had no problem accepting Laurel Valley transfers. Like I said before, the LV students certainly weren't going there for an upgrade in their education.

So I'm guessing Bailey voted against it which makes sense as Richland gets hurt come playoff time. I heard Homer City voted against it which is hilarious considering their two best teams in the past few years featured transfers from Blairsville and United.
I also saw a very good wrestler transferred back to Forest Hills and not a peep

I'm guessing they've gotten more transfers than any other school in the LHAC in all grade levels over the past few years.

knowitall, I enjoy your sarcasm! However, these kids are scholar athletes. The type of education these kids receive should be important to parents. It sounds if you don't care. If Ligonier needed some more ace teachers, they wouldn't go to Latrobe or Mt. Pleasant. Greater Latrobe is ranked the 156th best school in PA. Mt. Pleasant comes in at the 411th best school.
