Hey Bison 1, This forum is the Bedford County equivalent of ESPN!
You have to think ahead! Or you find yourself behind.
Well gummer my bedford informants tell me that they scrimmaged BC and J'town and based on that knowledge they felt vey confident of beating both of those schools in real games.
A scrimmage is NOT a real game! But a very far-sighted keen observer can get a lot of useful information out of a good scrimmage.
And who says Ridge unleashed everything in their arsenal against Tyrone?!?
I would be willing to bet all that I have that Bedford, after scrimmaging BC, would not even think to be in a game with them after they were pushed around that night.
The Tyrone comment makes me laugh, if you honestly think that Ridge would stay within a touchdown of them for an entire 4 quarters of football, your in denial(and no thats not a river in Africa). All this talk is pointless now, I just hope that everybody gets what they want, Bedford vs. CR, too bad the outcome will be different that lion faithful would want...

Ridge's best player, Novak, didn't even suit up for that scrimmage.

40-6 Ridge over Penns Valley. The Lions took advantage of PV fumbles and scored on a variety of big plays both on offense and defense. Looked like it was going to be a game early when PV took the opening kickoff and controlled the ball for over 7 minutes, only to fumble deep in Ridge territory. The Lions scored 2 plays later via Barefoot to Novak. That's the kind of night it was: PV moving the ball only to give it up and then get hit by lightning.
